The purpose of this experience report was to present the partial results, potentials, and reflections on the implementation of the Information and Communication Network on the Exposure of Workers to Sars-CoV-2 in Brazil. This Information and Communication Network seeks to contribute to the production and dissemination of information on combating the pandemic, disseminating health prevention norms and guidelines for workers who are performing on-site activities in various productive branches during the pandemic. Simultaneously, the Network developed instruments to record the exposure situation of these workers, due to the interinstitutional action of the teaching and research units, services, and the representation of organized civil society. The integrated information and communication actions aim to articulate knowledge, practices and public policies with the objective of strengthening the National Policy for Workers’ Health and actions aimed at promoting health in populations exposed occupationally and environmentally to Sars-CoV-2.
Objectives: to analyze the insertion of environmental issues in the postgraduate stricto sensu in nursing in Brazil. Methods: quali-quantitative research, of exploratory approach, with documental research in the Sucupira Platform and in sites of the 112 courses stricto sensu in Nursing in Brazil, in 2018. We analyzed the curricular matrixes; course menus; teaching profile; dissertations and thesis (2004-2016); and bibliographic productions of the four-year evaluation 2013-2016. The analysis of quantitative data was performed by statistical methods; and qualitative data, by the Content Analysis Technique, outlined by Bardin. Results: the results demonstrate incipiency in the treatment of environmental issues. Regarding the theme, we highlight those that refer to socio-historical-cultural aspects in relation to the more direct environmental approach and facilitator of environmental conservation and consequent promotion of health. Final Considerations: The analysis allows identifying the fragility of the environmental approach in the analyzed programs, being necessary to improve the cross-sectionality of environmental issues.

One of the goals of nursing is health promotion, and because of that, the study of the environment, standing for the relationship between the professional and society, must be fully incorporated into nurses’ qualifications. This study aimed to analyze the insertion of environmental issues into a nursing degree in a middle-sized Brazilian city from the point of view of the different actors involved: professors, students, and coordinators. The study had a mixed-methods design. Data collection was done through a documentary analysis of political teaching projects; questionnaires to nursing students; and semi-structured interviews with coordinators and professors of Higher Education Institutions of the city. The quantitative data analysis was done through statistical methods and the Scott‒Knott Test; the qualitative data analysis was done through the content analysis proposed by Bardin. The results demonstrate a lack of proper handling of environmental issues, with the work only involving the specific environmental subjects that are the most prominent. Although environmental issues are only inserted at random into the teaching, the students still understand the importance of environmental knowledge as it applies to the technical subjects of the nursing degree.
