RESÚMENA lo largo de estos últimos años se ha visto como las organizaciones policiales están sufriendo una transformación constante en su estructura y organización interna con el horizonte marcado en lograr la disminución en la percepción de la inseguridad ciudadana. En la actualidad, la sociedad marcada por el efecto globalización exige organizaciones policiales más flexibles y moldeables, donde los cambios internos en la misma se sucedan con la rapidez e inmediatez necesaria que la sociedad demande. En ese proceso de transformación social han adquirido notable importancia las interacciones sociales entre Policía-ciudadano a fin de lograr la efectividad de la proactividad en las actuaciones policiales. El ciudadano es el principal protagonista de la seguridad y las Policías locales en el ámbito de la seguridad local son el principal instrumento para garantizarla.Palabras clave: Policía local, Interacción social, desempeño, Seguridad. ABSTRACTThroughout the latest years it has been seen how Police Organizations are undergoing a continued transformation in the structure and internal organization with the forecast marked by the achieving objectives that have been marked by the politics direction. Today society is marked by the globalization effect which requires more adaptable and malleable Police Organizations where the internal changes happen with rapidity and closeness demanded. This social transformation process has acquired a prominent importance in Police-Citizen social interaction to reach proactivity's efficacy in police conduct. The citizen is the main security's focus and Local Polices are the main resource to guarantee local security. In local sphere stands out the increasing importance of Local Police department in Comunity's social relationships in order to reduce the insecurity's citizen perception, the biggest challenge society is facing in welfare state.
