Currently, the final destination of waste generated through urban, industrial, agricultural, and other activities has been a major concern in Brazil. The pyrolysis process is an excellent alternative for the treatment of agroindustrial residues such as filter cake. The objective of this paper was to evaluate a treatment by low pyrolysis of the filter cake residue of the sugarcane industry, aiming to obtain bioproducts with probable applications in the market. The results showed that the yield of the bioproducts were 68% biochar, 17% gas, 11% water and 4% bio-oil. In addition, the biochar generated was the bioproduct with the greatest potential of application, because it presented characteristics to be used as organic adsorbent and organic fertilizer.
