Traditional medicine from plant extracts has proved to be more affordable, clinically effective and relatively less adverse effects than modern drugs. The Present study was conducted for the extraction, Identification and Invitro anti diabetic activity of Gymnema sylvestre (Asclepiadaceae), extraction were employed to obtain maximum yield. The method where the leaves were extracted under continuous hot extraction in Soxhlet apparatus with 95% ethanol give the maximum yield. The extract were performed qualitative Studies of different chemical constituent of the plant. Gymnema Sylvestre ethanol extract have shown promising antidiabetic activity against standard control Alloxan.
A simple, precise and accurate RP-HPLC technique was developed and the developed method was validated for the regular analysis of Febuxostat and Ketorolac. Chromatographic analysis was performed by selecting an Novapak RP-C18 column (150 x 3.9 µm i.d; particle size 4 µm), Phosphate buffer in water pH-5.8 adjusted with O-Phosphoric Acid: Methanol in the isocratic mode (40:60 v/v) as mobile phase, 1.2 ml/min as flow rate and 20 μl injection volume. The LC chromatographic peaks were eluted at 1.92 and 3.10 for Febuxostat and Ketorolac respectively at 321 nm as detection wavelength with PDA detector. The developed method was validated as per the ICH guidelines and the Validation parameters were specificity, accuracy, linearity, precision, LOD and LOQ.
A field experiment on "Effect of Organic Manures and Plant Extracts on growth and yield of Chickpea, Cicer arietinum L." was carried out at Limboor village of Nizamabad District, Telangana State. The heighest plant height 60.493 cm was observed in T1-Vermicompost (10 t/ha) + NSKE (5%) followed by T6 -Poultry manure (5 t/ha) + chilli garlic extract (100 gm/lit) with 57.963 which was on par with T2 -Vermicompost (10 t/ha) + chilli garlic extract (100 gm/lit), T3 -Vermicompost (10 t/ha) + tobacco leaf decotion (5% W/v), T4 -Vermicompost (10 t/ha) + pongamia seed extract (5% W/v), T5 -Poultry manure (5 t/ha) + NSKE (5%). The more branches per plant 7.567 no. was recorded in T1 which was on par with T8 -Poultry manure (5 t/ha) + pongamia seed extract (5% W/v) with 7.620 no. followed by T5 -Poultry manure (5 t/ha) + NSKE (5%). T1-Vermicompost (10 t/ha) + NSKE (5%) recorded highest i.e. 69.94 no. of pods per plant with 1569.45 kg/ha grain yield and it was significantly different from other treatments followed by T5 -Poultry manure (5 t/ha) + NSKE (5%).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
