The mental workload affects productivity workers to accomplish the task. Staff has many tasks that not only main task but additional task. The additional task is from superior in the same place or the other place. The SOP for duties and distribution of task is not clear so the fatigue can affect to productivity. The method to measure mental workload is NASA-TLX. NASA TLX has six indicators: mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, performance, frustration, and effort. The analysis not only based on result of NASA TLX but also using statistic test. The result is performance indicator is high that described the staff not satisfied with their job has done. The staff not satisfy but the effort has been taken out is very high. The result of Mann Whitney is not different with two group of the period long term of working which divided in < 7 years and >7 years. The result of correlation test is if the staff make more effort, the satisfaction for their tasks has been done is bigger. The regression test produces an equation but cannot be used to calculation or prediction the staff mental workload. Because regression coefficient is not significant (not usable). The solution is staff must divide the task. Dissatisfaction can reduce motivation and the members cannot perform well.
PT LG Electronics Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan industri yang bergerak dibidang elektronik dengan produk yang dihasilkan berupa bahan setengah jadi atau berupa item part. Proses produksi pada PT LG Electronics Indonesia terdapat tiga proses yaitu proses SMT (Surface Mount Tecnology), Assy dan Test. Pada ketiga proses tersebut dibutuhkan ketelitian yang cukup tinggi dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan agar sesuatu yang dihasilkan dari proses tersebut tidak terdapat cacat produk dan ketepatan waktu penyelesaian setiap proses merupakan salah satu indikator penilaian kinerja. Tuntutan pekerjaan harus bekerja keras dalam memberikan pelayanan yang baik terhadap pelanggan agar dapat bersaing dengan perusahan lain dan menghasilkan produk berkualitas. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini menggunakan metode Subjective Workload Assessment Tecnique atau dikenal dengan metode SWAT bertujuan untuk menentukan beban kerja mental yang dialami oleh para karyawan dengan metode SWAT yang diolah menggunakan aplikasi DosBox 0.74. Aktivitas produksi terdiri dari sepuluh aktivitas, yaitu memasukkan PCB ke mesin dan memeriksa komponen pada PCB, memotong PCB, memberi cream solder, memasang komponen terminal, memasang komponen chassis pada PCB, solder konektor, memeriksa gap, memeriksa DIF, visual inspection point last checking dan packing dan proses adjusting (proses pengaturan produk). Hasil penelitian menyatakan yang mempengaruhi operator produksi terhadap kinerja di PT LG Electronics Indonesia adala faktor waktu atau time load dengan persentase sebesar 48.55%, sedangkan beban usaha mental atau effort load cukup berpengaruh pada beban kerja dengan persentase sebesar 24.64%, dan beban tekanan psikologis atau stress load dengan persentase sebesar 28.81%. Sedangkan pada metode NASA-TLX beban kerja yang yang paling tinggi pada bagian Assembly (61), Packaging (60), SMT (58), Quality Control (56) dan Test (54). In all activities, people need memory as information storage. A good memory will make it easier for people to remember so they can do their job well. One of the things that affect memory is the sound of music. Music is commonly used as a stress treatment or as one of the stimuli of human brain memory. Not only classical music can be one of the stimuli of brain memory, but listening to the Quran can also be one of the brain memory stimulants. Several studies have proven that by listening to the Qur'an, the ability of the brain can be increased significantly. In this study used the variables pre and posted Qur'an listening to 50 respondents. Respondents consisted of 26 men and 24 women aged 19-22 years old. All respondents will get two treatments. The first treatment is without listening to murottal and the second treatment is done after listening to the Quran. All respondents will do memory test using the program running memory in software design tools. The results showed that the average ability of short-term memory without listening to murottal 11.8 and the average ability of short-term memory by listening to murottal is 12.62. Based on these results it is known that by listening to the Quran provides a significant increase in the ability of the brain.
An industry goal is to create a product to make a profit. Development of human resources is one important thing for a company to consider. Companies have an opportunity to increase work productivity by the rules of OHS (Occupational Health and Safety). This study aimed to: (1) Partially determine the influence of work safety on employee productivity. (2) Partially determine the influence of health on employee productivity. (3) Simultaneously determine the influence of health and safety on employee productivity simultaneously. (4) Determine that variables that have a major influence on employee productivity. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 200 respondents. Results of SEM showed that safety did not have an effect on productivity (p=0.467). However, occupational health effected productivity (p=0.002). Thus, health has a significant influence on work productivity.
One of the leading keys to successful management in Inventory Management is Human Resource. Its productivity directly improved the production process performance. This research objective is to analyze warehouse server productivity by incorporating Objective Matrix Method (OMAX). Three criteria are observed, they are Service Time, Database Input Time, and total output. The observation was conducted in 5 days. The object in this research is server at two warehouses in a passenger boarding bridge enterprise. First worker productivity is increase for 4 days with average Index Performance 141,67% and decrease in one day with index performance 33,33%. Meanwhile, second worker productivity is decrease for 4 days with average index performance 70,84% and increase in one day with index performance 33,33%. Productivity between one server with others were unequal. Based on the difference, furthermore analysis is done by using cause-effect diagram (fishbone) to determine the root of the problem stated. The cause of the problem is each server has difference technical ability, there is no Standard Operating Procedure for warehouse service and database input process, the warehouse layout and the working environment is not practicing proper 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain).
