This research aims to produce student’s worksheet based on guide discovery learning model School that quality based on aspect validity, practically, and effectivity.This Reseach take place in 15 Junior High School of Yogyakarta at 2017/2018. This are research and development. Research and development design by development procedural of ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research based on problems that are teacher still use uninterested teaching material and text book from goverment is not easy to understand by student. The result of development show that analysis phase we get curriculum,necessity, and material analize. Design phase get draft LKS and validity assessment paper. Development phase to develop draft LKS and validity assessment. Implementation phase to use LKS in learning, observ the learning, and test. Evaluation to analize practically and effectivity of LKS. The result of research show that student’s worksheet has complied criteria valid, practice, and effective. Student’s worksheet declare to be valid based on expert and teacher’s assessment with score 3,37 that category is ”very valid”. Student’s worksheet declare to be practice based on teacher and student quisioner with score 3,63 that category is ”practice”. Student’s worksheet declare to be effective based on post test with pass percentage of the result test score 94,11% that category is ”effective”. The conclude is student’s worksheet that develop is good to use in learning.
This research aimed to develop Mathematics HOTS test items in essay type in improving mathematical communication of tenth grade Science students in Senior High School. Research Development was applied as the research method. The Research Development used in this research was Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel model consisting of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating in developing qualified mathematics learning test instrument. In this research, the expert judgements by mathematics lecturer and teacher were conducted toward the developed instruments. There were field trials conducted for empirical validity. The field trials involved tenth grade Science students in 11 State Senior High School. Data analyzing technique used qualitative analysis to interpret the result of the expert judgments and quantitative analysis to test item validity and instrument reliability containing the developed test items. Furthermore, among seven HOTS test items for mathematical communication skill that were written, there were resulted three HOTS test items for mathematical communication skill which were valid, reliable, and practical.
Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru – guru di SDN Tamansari I Yogyakarta dalam melaksanakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Kegiatan ini dilakksanakan pada bulan April sampai Juni 2019. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui 4 tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Tahap persiapan meliputi observasi, pembuatan proposal, mengurus perijinan dan mempersiapkan materi pelatihan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi kegiatan pelatihan penyusunan proposal, pendampingan pelaksanaan penelitian, pelatihan penyusunan laporan dan pendampingan penyusunan laporan. Pada tahap evaluasi, kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan di evaluasi melalui wawancara dan jumlah laporan penlitian yang telah dibuat oleh guru. Pada tahap laporan, tim pengabdi menyusun laporan akhir kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan.Pelatihan penulisan proposal dihadiri oleh 14 orang guru dari jumlah total guru 18 orang. 4 orang guru berhasil melaksanakan Penelitisn Tindakan Kelas sesuai dengan proposal yang telah dirancang saat pelatihan. Namun baru satu orang guru yang berhasil menyelesaikan penulisan laporannya.
Guru profesional sebagai agen pembelajaran dituntut untuk mempunyai kompetensi mengajar dan keterampilan mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pengajaran di era digital di masa pandemi Covid. Berdasarkan interview dengan Kepala Sekolah SMPN 1 Kasihan ditemukan fakta bahwa guru belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan menggunakan IT sebagai media pembelajaran seperti Canva.. Pengabdian dilakukan sebagai solusi masalah yang bertujuan memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menerapkan IT dengan menggunakan Canva untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran daring.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan, presentasi, diskusi, tanya jawab, kerja praktik dan tugas. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 30 guru SMPN 1 Kasihan Yogyakarta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan Canva bermanfaat bagi para guru dalam membuat materi presentasi yang menarik dengan Canva sehingga meningkatkan profesionalisme guru.
