Objective:To determine Eustachian tube function in tubotympanic type of chronic ear disease and to correlate Eustachian tube function with pathological change in middle ear mucosa. Materials and Methods: A prospective study of the cases of tubotympanic type of chronic suppurative otitis media was undertaken. Patients were subjected to clinical examination followed by audiometry tests and impedence audiometry to determine eustachian tube functions. Patients were then subjected to myringoplasty and eustachian tube function were then reassessed post operatively. Results: In our study, out of 30 cases who underwent myringoplasty, 21 cases had successful surgical outcome and 9 cases were failed. Out of 24 cases of good Eustachian tube function, 21 cases had successful surgical outcome intends of taking up graft, absence of otorrhea and improvement in hearing. In remaining 3 cases, there was recurrence of otorrhea with central perforation. All the 6 cases with poor Eustachian tube function had surgical failure. Conclusion: The prognosis of the middle ear reconstructive surgery has direct correlation with Eustachian tube functions and Eustachian tube function tests should be a routine investigation in all the cases planned for surgical reconstruction of the middle ear.
Internet of Things (IoT) is propagating and blooming technology, in previous years. IoT is the collection of the sensors data through embedded system and this embedded system upload the data on internet. There are many challenges to IoT and Industrial Automation for example Data and service security, Trust, data integrity, information privacy, scalability and interoperability Automation Domain Constrains. This paper combines the concept of Raspberry Pi Industrial workstation and Industrial Automation using IoT. The system uses the raspberry pi as controller and server, the programing is done in the python language. The webpage is designed in HTML, JQuery, ajax and Flask as framework for rendering the HTML template in python. All sensor data are collected through raspberry pi. All the use full data are access remotely through internet of thing platform. Here the blade ageing system of cutter tool is taken to as industrial example and current is monitored to the webpage using raspberry pi as server. This system demonstrates successful measurement of current consumption of cutting tool and indicate to change the blade if it damaged. It also senses the workstation temperature.
In this research work a square corner cut rectangular wide band microstrip patch antenna is presented. A FR4 substrate is used to design a reference antenna of size 28 × 37 mm 2 with partial ground structure feed using microstrip line and results are observed for impedance bandwidth, radiation patterns and antenna gain with the help of CADFEKO, proposed wide band antenna which is design on the FR4 substrate with Partial ground structure and square notch at the lower corners on radiating patch. Results are observed from simulated design and presented current distribution for the same. Simulated impedance band width is 4.21GHz (2.99GHz-7.2GHz). Gain is up to 2.049dBi. Improvement in design antenna is studied, comparison carried out between these designs. Proposed antenna VSWR bandwidth enhance from 31.8GHz to 4.21GHz.
