Purpose of study: Aims to determine product development procedures and test product validity so that it meets eligibility as teaching materials.
Methodology: The research procedure is carried out through the steps of developing a 4-D model, namely define, design, development, and disperse using a descriptive method. This study uses a 4-D development model and is limited to the development stage (develop).
Main Findings: The results of this study indicate that the media and material expert validator stated that the electronic module based on explicit learning on momentum and impulse material had a very good proportion of 90%, so that it was declared feasible and as many as 88.67% of students were interested in learning to use the electronic module. This shows that the electronic module based on explicit learning on momentum and impulse material is very good and feasible to be used as a physics teaching material in class XI in Senior high school.
Novelty/Originality of this study: The latest in this research is the basis used. Because this research is based on explicit instructions that have never been done by previous research.
The purpose of this study is to describe the innovation of poetry reading teaching materials through 3D Flipbook multimedia. The method used in the research is descriptive procedural research method. The reference is ADDIE model development research. What is described is 3D multimedia Flipbook for learning to read poetry. Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire. There were 24 respondents, who were seventh semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, FKIP Jambi University. The results of the study illustrate that the 3D Flipbook multimedia when used by lecturers in teaching is an actual medium, brings innovation, has an appeal, and makes it easier to follow the lecture flow and examples. The average respondent's assessment for all aspects assessed is 4.60. Aspects of media appearance were assessed with an average of 4.70 (decent category); the content aspect of poetry reading material is assessed with an average of 4.50 (very decent category); and the learning aspect was assessed with an average of 4.60 (very feasible category).
The research underlying this paper is descriptive qualitative research conducted through three stages, the pre-field stage, the stage of field-work, and the data analysis stage. The subjects in this study were six students of grade seven Islamic Junior High School or Madrasah Tsanawiyah Yaspi Labuhan Medan with two subjects capable of good mathematical communication, two subjects with sufficient communication skills, and two subjects with less communication skills. Subject selected through purposive sampling. Based on the research, were obtained: first, there is a positive change in the ability of students to communicate mathematics after being given joyful learning based on the context of Malay culture; second, the process of student answers shows that subjects are better able to communicate mathematical questions after being given joyful learning based on Malay cultural context. Furthermore, this research recommended that teachers can use joyful learning based on cultural contexts by presenting problems related to local culture as an alternativelearning.
