Abstract.A new tightening machine was designed in this paper, used for automobile differential mechanism. The PLC as the core controller of this device controlled two screwed shafts by Profibus-DP communication and positioning motor through indexing plate.8 bolts would be tightened to the set torque automatically when the start button pressed. HMI equipment through which the status of device and results of tighten could be saw was equipped.
More and more special automation equipment had been developed with progress of technology. All kinds of nonstandard equipment were applied to the specific occasion. A vision guided intelligent handing system in the paper was specially designed for carrying the inner ring and outer ring of railway-bearing from material handcart to the testing line. Robot, visual positioning, pneumatic clamping jaw, servo motor and PLC were integrated into this handing system. The visual system was led to take pictures for the inner and outer rings by robot, and transfer the location data of rings to the PLC, the brain of the whole system. The PLC controlled robot and pneumatic clamping jaw finish the handing process through accurate calculation.
Abstract. In this paper, I mainly introduce a control system used on the test bed, to test the function of the truck transmission by LABVIEW software. The control system exchanges data between PLC and host computer software mainly by the OPC technology. The client of the OPC running on IPC is programmed with LABVIEW. The functions of the control system mainly include exchanging varieties automatically, testing the functions automatically, acquiring the data to deal with and storage, generating reports and others. The truck transmission test bed is successfully used to produce the transmission in the Fast Auto Drive company in Thailand, which ensures the quality of products and improves the competitiveness of them.
