ABSTRACTSouth Jakarta as the center of residential and economic activities in Jakarta, experienced population growth every year. The increasing population of Jakarta Selatan resulted in an increase in various needs, such as the need for mobilization. The need for mobilization is supported by the transportation in South Jakarta in the form of private vehicles and public transportations. Along with the technology development, the information technology began to be applied in public transport as a solution to the problem of congestion and the problem of conventional public transport. The main purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics and differences of online-based public transportation is South Jakarta. This research use descriptive analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the differences of online-based transportaion depend on the service provider company. Differences from every online-based public transportation companies are origin country and service coverage, type of vehicle used, service facilities, payment method, point and reward features, peak hours, motorcycles and cars fare, as well as additional fees of cancellation.
This paper tries to look at the root cause of low ridership in public transport in the city of Malang, locally known as Angkutan Kota (Angkot), in a kind of non-traditional perspective. The decreasing interest of the people of Malang City towards the use of public transport was presumed partly due to the transportation tax and retribution policies that are somewhat not too restrictive. This study explains that 80% of people in Malang City consider the amount of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) is cheap and reasonable which is believed to drive people away from utilizing Angkot. On the other hand, surprisingly, parking fees for motorized vehicles for most people are considered quite burdensome. Thus, this study suggests that in addition to the need to improve the quality of public transport services, adjusting the amount of tax and the cost of parking for motorized vehicles in the city of Malang needs to be reconsidered to increase the interest of the people of Malang in using public transport.
Abstract. The area in Surabaya and Mojokerto is an industrial area that is increasing quite rapidly. Based on City Mojokerto in Figures Year 2016.From an industrial estate is a change of land use from agriculture or ponds into settlements and / or industries. The occurrence of congestion along this road because of the capacity that is not sufficient to accommodate the number of vehicles passing. The purpose of this research is to know the model of land use interaction, knowing the network performance and know the travel time to be passed. And analyze what components affect the calculation of travel time. Necessary data. The existing land layout along the road and the average traffic calculation data on the road in the study area. To know the travel time must be known in advance the capacity of the road that can be accommodated along the road. After the capacity is known the service performance becomes the main factor in determining road network performance. This research uses regression analysis for land use modeling.
Abstract. Malang has shown an annual vehicle growth of 15%. However, it is an umfortunate fact that 32% of 44 main streets are identified as having low service level, according to a local transportation ranking report. Such condition results in the decline of average vehicle velocity, approaching to the level of velocity (v) = 0; or in other words, street saturation degree could reach >1. The condition is not proportional to the increase of CO concentration in Malang in 2013-2014 as shown in the result of Evaluation of City Air Quality in 2014 which jumped from 3000 µm/m 3 in 2013 to almost 5000 µm/m 3 in 2014. This study was aimed at evaluating the extend to which street-service-level variables influence the production of CO emission from motorized transportation activity in an urban street in Malang. Gatot Subroto Street is chosen as a case study according to Multi Criteria Analysis. Furthermore, the street-service-level variables being evaluated include vehicle volume, velocity, side friction, effective roadside width and effective street width. Through a qualitative statistical analysis approach using a multiple linear regression analysis, the result suggests that vehicle volume and side friction are the most dominant factors (Xi) that significantly influence CO emission loads (Y).
