Climate change is impacting human lives and health in a variety of ways. It threatens the essential ingredients of good health as; clean air, safe drinking water, nutritious food supply and safe shelter and has the potential to undermine decades of progress in global health. Aim: To evaluate the effect of awareness program regarding climate change on knowledge, attitude and practices of university students. Design: A quasi-experimental design. Setting: Faculty of Nursing, Kafr elsheikh University. Sampling: A systematic random sample consists of 425 students. Tool I: Structured questionnaire; composed of two parts. Part 1: Students' personal characteristics. Part 2: Students' knowledge regarding climate change. Tool II: Students' daily life reported practices questionnaire. Tool III: Students' attitude regarding climate change questionnaire. Tool IV: Students' awareness of climate change questionnaire. Results: There was a highly statistical significant difference between knowledge level, attitude and daily life practices of the university students regarding climate changes pre & post awareness program implementation. There was a positive correlation between knowledge, daily life practices & attitude of university students total scores pre/post program implementation at P<0.000. Conclusion: The awareness program has a significant positive effect on the students' level of knowledge; attitude and daily life reported practices regarding the climate change. Recommendation: Considerable work needs to be done in the direction of integrating climate change concepts into the university curriculums in order to increase the environmental awareness among all university students irrespective of their study specialization.
The visual impairment students need support in personnel activities. Visual impairment students are extremely vulnerable because of limiting access to health information and ability to live a healthy lifestyle. Aim: Study aimed to evaluate the effect of Audio drama based educational program on healthy life style practices among visually impaired students Design: A quasi experimental pre/post-test research design was utilized. Setting: Al-Nour school for the Blind, Kafr El-Sheikh governorate. Sample: A purposive sample of 210 visually impaired students. Tools I: Structured interviewing Questionnaire which consisted of four parts 1. Assess socio-demographic data; 2. Assess medical and family history for students; 3. Questionnaire for assessing student knowledge regards personal hygiene 4. Student satisfaction Questionnaire with the audioeducational sessions. II: Health-Related Lifestyle Questionnaire to assess the student life style. Results: There were diminish of visually impairment students' knowledge and practices regarding personal hygiene and healthy lifestyle before implementing the Audio drama sessions. In addition, there were an enhancement in students' total knowledge and practices scores post provision the Audio-drama teaching sessions with highly statistically significant differences at P<0.01. Conclusion:The Audio drama educational sessions were effective in improvement the visually impaired students' knowledge and practices regarding Lifestyle. Recommendation: Raising awareness of students about the personal hygiene and healthy lifestyle by further educational and training programs especially for disable and visual impairment students.

Webinar teaching program play a crucial role in improving and updating the mothers' knowledge and practices regarding their children's health such as vitamin D deficiency and the correction of misleading information as well. Such problem which is largely unknown by majority of the people, has a high prevalence even in developed and sunny countries. Aim: To evaluate effect of webinar teaching program on mothers' knowledge and practices regarding vitamin D deficiency among their Children. Design: A Quasi-Experimental design (one group pre/posttest). Setting: The study was conducted at Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, Egypt. Subjects: A purposive sample of 300 mothers. Tool 1: Self-administered questionnaire consisted of 2 parts: Mothers' demographic data, mothers' knowledge about vitamin D deficiency. Tool 2: Included 2 parts: Mothers' reported practices checklist regarding vitamin D deficiency, mothers' feedback regarding using the webinar. Results: The mean age of the studied mothers was 25.2±4.3 years. All mothers were attending webinar course about vitamin D deficiency for the first time. Webinars had a significant effect on improving both knowledge and reported practices of mothers. A positive significant correlation between knowledge and reported practice scores regarding vitamin D deficiency. Conclusion: The online webinar teaching program had a positive effect on improving mothers' knowledge and reported practices regarding vitamin D deficiency among their children. Recommendations: Webinar can be used as new technology educational methods for mothers regarding other diseases to improve their knowledge and practices.
Background:The chronic conditions prevalence and the susceptibility to getting two or more chronic conditions, which is called multimorbidity, increase with age. Multimorbid geriatric patients face further barriers to diseases management self-efficacy. Aim of the study: This study aims to evaluate the association between long-term conditions, multimorbidity burden, and chronic disease self-efficacy among geriatric patients. Subjects and Method: Research design: a correlational descriptive research design was used. Setting: This study was conducted in the outpatient clinics of Sohag University Hospitals. Subjects: A purposive sample of 200 geriatric patients was selected. Tools of data collection: six tools were used: two screening tools for excluding geriatric patients with depressive symptoms or cognitive impairments, and four tools for collecting data. Tool I: Geriatric patients' demographic and clinical data structured interview schedule. Tool II: long-term chronic conditions questionnaire. Tool III: Chinese Multimorbidity Treatment Burden Questionnaire. Tool IV: Chronic Disease Self-Efficacy Scale-Korean Version. Results: The majority (94%) of studied geriatric patients had the worst living level with chronic conditions and experienced a high treatment burden level (85%). Approximately half (51%) of the participants had moderate chronic disease self-efficacy. Conclusion: There was a statistically significant positive relationship between geriatric patients' long-term conditions and chronic disease self-efficacy while there was a statistically significant negative relationship between multimorbidity burden, and chronic disease self-efficacy. Recommendations: These results have potential implications for gerontological nurses' efforts to develop health education programs for geriatric patients regarding multimorbidity rehabilitation and to promote their self-efficacy.
