FDM is 3D printing technology using mainly PLA and ABS as filament materials. PP has close characteristics to PLA and, due to that, is a potential material for for deposition. Paper aims to analyse the behaviour of PP during heating cycle specific to 3D printing process. Macroscopic and microscopic analysis of the deposited strings have been performed. They revealed less stiffness of the PP deposition comparing to PLA, which is due to the lower viscosity of PP. DSC Thermal analysis has been done at it revealed a 30% higher heat flux in PP comparing to PLA and that increases its fluidity. It was recorded a difference between the elongation viscosity of the PP filament and the PP deposited by FDM process. After 5s the deposited PP proves higher values for the elongation viscosity. Dynamic shear rheology measurements the was applied on samples deformed under 210 kN at 190oC. It has been found that the PP requires lower storage energy and that means that it has a lower viscosity for the entire range of applied frequencies. In the same time, the complex viscosities prove different behavior. To improve the control of the deposition shape, it is necessary to reduce the extrusion temperature with 4-5%. That leads to economy in power consumption.
Food safety policies have gained considerable importance in recent years, food safety being one of the indicators that illustrates the standard of living and quality of life within a nation state. In order to assess food security, we analyzed the Global Food Security Index (GFSI) that, economically, is based on GDP, degree of poverty and agricultural production, extending also to areas such as government and public policies, which are usually not directly included in food safety indicators or generating factors. Considering the importance and impact of food safety, starting from the theoretical concepts, from the current state of food safety in Europe, presented by the means of GFSI and its components, we developed a set of measures based on the grouping (correlation) of states following the analysis of hierarchical ranking of clusters. To analyse clusters hierarchical ranking the food safety indicators were used as input, dependent data. As an independent variable, with a strong influence on all the others, determined by means of multiple linear regression, we considered GDP/inhabitant at the level of each analysed state. The design of the set of measures considered the correlation that can be established among the various GFSI indicators that influence and generate the current state of food security in different European countries and the influence these indicators can have on maintaining or improving this state.
The exponential trend of digital technologies, doubled by the mobility restrictions imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, caused a paradigm shift in traditional economic models. Digital transformation has become increasingly common in all types of organizations and affects all activities. Organizations have adopted digital technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness in management, marketing, and accounting. This paper aims to assess the impact of digital transformation on project management, marketing, and decision-making processes in users’ perceptions. The study begins with theoretical research on the digitalization of management and accounting information systems and conducts an empirical investigation based on a questionnaire. First, the paper assesses users’ perceptions of implementing digital technologies. The answers of 442 professionals from project management, marketing, and decision making were processed using structural equation modeling. The results show that users’ acceptance of digitalization is higher in decision making due to the significant contribution of artificial intelligence in repetitive decision making. Project management and marketing also benefit from digitalization, yet non-repetitive activities remain mainly the responsibility of the human factor.
