Malaria disease is one of the environmental health problems, Health Office of Katingan District Kasongan District Health Center. Katingan Hilir is a malaria endemic area with an API value in 2010 of 5.6 ‰ and is a red zone in malaria stratafication. Malaria discovery rates from 2008 to 2010 always increase. The high rate of malaria morbidity is due to the lack of knowledge level and community behavior pattern.The aim of this research is to know the correlation between knowledge level and behavioral pattern about malaria with malaria incident in Kasongan sub-district of Katingan Hilir district of Katingan Regency. The type of research is analytic, research design using Fisher exact test. The number of respondents in this study was 58 respondents.Chi-square statistical test results with Continuity Correction obtained p-value 0.002 indicates that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge with the incidence of malaria and the results of statistical tests with Fisher exact test obtained p-value 0.002 that there is a relationship between behavioral patterns with malariaincidence.Efforts that can be done, among others, control the factors causing malaria such as the level of knowledge and behavior patterns as well as increasing the extension of public awareness.
The Factors Associated With Handler’s Action In Handling Food On Restaurants In Banjar District. In 2015 there are poisoning cases because of contaminated food by chemical, physical, and biological factors. The case occurred in Gambut Subdistrict, Kertak Hanyar, Simpang Empat and Martapura, cause South Kalimantan in the sixth province with the highest poisoning case in Indonesia. The poisoning cases of 66.7% is caused by microbial contamination on fast food from the handlers. This is because their action who are less concerned on food safety, especially they work at house. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the handler’s action in handling food on restaurants in Banjar District. The study type was Observational Research with Cross sectional design. The method used interview and observation. The sample was determined by purposive sampling technique, which is obtained by research opinion, with the result obtain a sample amounted to 78 food handlers that work for 24 restaurants in Martapura, Banjar District. Proses yang berkesinambungan yang membentuk struktur yang diperlukan dalam interaksi terus menerus dengan lingkungan. Struktur yang dibentuk oleh kecerdasan, pengetahuan sangat subjektif waktu masih bayi dan masa kanak-kanak awal dan menjadi objektif dalam masa dewasa awal. Jadi intinya perkembangan kognitif anakusia MI harus disesuaikan dengan kemampuan belajar dan menerima pembelajaran dari setiap pendidik. Pendidik pun harus dapat menyesuaikan sampai dimana kemampuan otak para peserta didik dapat menerima pembelajaran, jadi jangan sampai materi yang jauh di atas kemampuan mereka membuat motivasi belajar dan merusak struktur kognitif mereka.
Martapura river water is one of the source of water used for daily use by residents who live along the banks of the river Martapura. Almost every house along the river Martapura does not have adequate clean water facilities and is highly dependent on river water. The objective of the study was to know the pattern of population density of dengue fever vector in residential area of river Martapura. This type of analytic research, using a cross sectional design. The population of all Aedes sp mosquitoes and all residents in the residential area of river Martapura. The sample is partially Aedes sp mosquitoes and residents in the residential area of the river Martapura river, the village Antasan Senor, Antasan Senor Ilir, and the village of Mekar). Purposive Sampling Sampling Technique. Methods of gathering observations, interviews and identification. Analytical data processing and analysis with one way ANOVA test. The results showed that the population density vector category "High" DF = 4.7 and ABJ 71.7%. The result of statistical test of population vector density pattern there is no significant difference (p-value> 0,05). The environmental condition of the settlement is quite clean, breading place of the existence of larvae is not found, the number of TPA varies in the form of plastic, rubber, cement, iron / aluminum. Type / material of positive landfill larvae made of plastic material. Suggestion of research, for related institution to socialize and mobilize community in PSN activity of 3M + movement routinely, larva survey once a week, train Jumantik officer, public health education activity and integrated vector eradication (physical, chemical or biological) and community PHBS found the family / community experiencing symptoms of dengue disease immediately report / bring to the nearest health officer / facility.
Poor personal hygiene can be a factor supporting the development of skin diseases such as scabies. In Indonesia the scabies disease numerous in boarding school. One of the things that support the transmission of scabies is personal hygiene students who are not good. The study aimed to determine the relationship of personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies on students Al Falah male boarding school students at sub-district of Liang Anggang in the year 2016. This research is an analytic observational with cross sectional design. The sample of research are students of Al Falah for boys boarding school Sub-district of Liang Anggang as many as 127 people. Data analysis using statistical Chi-square test (X2). The results showed among 127 students, 59 of them in a poor condition of personal hygiene 53 of them categorized affected with scabies (89.8 %). While the remaining 68 students were in a good condition of personal hygiene with 23 of them having scabies (33.8%). X2 test results showed that there was a significant relationship, personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies on students boarding school Al Falah for boys Sub-district of Liang Anggang in the year 2016 at p-value = 0.000. Efforts should be made to reduce the incidence of scabies among others: showering twice a day using clean water, use personal belongings are not mutually borrowing, keep clean hands and nails, hygiene clothing and cleanliness of the bed.
