— At present and along with the development of the times, higher education or campuses are increasingly competing with each other, especially in Indonesia. Each campus is competing to improve its quality so that it has a good assessment and can become a World Class University. This is done in various ways, for example, such as providing campus infrastructure that is equipped with adequate technology or combining technology into activities or all processes on campus, this is called the implementation of a smart campus. So that by forming a smart campus, the campus can produce better quality human resources. One form of technological advancement is the emergence of internet technology, the Internet stands for interconnection networking as a communication network connecting between electronic media using the standard IP (Internet Protocol). The internet has many benefits that make it widely used in various industrial sectors, one of which is in the higher education industry. IoT exists as an evolution of the internet as a system that has remote control. IoT is one of the right solutions to support smart campus implementation. The use of IoT on a smart campus can improve campus quality, efficiency and effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of IoT, the network technology used and how the implementation can be done on a smart campus

Big Data asphalt the way for innovative systems that students learn in exciting ways. The use of Learning Management Systems gave birth to a data explosion in higher education which became an innovation for the world of education, namely Big Data. These large amounts of digital data will provide information on what students and student behavior and involvement, their assessment, motivation and preferences, thus providing a large amount of data that can be mined for the learning experience. By utilizing the results of Big Data analysis in tertiary institutions, it can be obtained more insight into students, academics and the process in higher education so that it supports predictive analysis and increases decision making based on data which in turn can help improve the successful performance of students and institutions. This study using secondary data collection methods from journals or books. Method used is an analysis using the Decision Tree, Naive Bayes and K-Means. These results can predict the value obtained by students Learning Effectiveness in an educational institution, then a solution can be searched to increase the value of students in that institution.
In today’s digital era, technological developments are increasingly rapid, advanced, and have an incredibly positive impact on every aspect in various sectors (especially in industry). The increase in what is being done with the internet is bound to result in the data population increasing at a very fast rate as well. The huge amount of data and of various types makes it impossible to manage, analyze, interpret, and trace traditionally making it increasingly difficult for the industry to obtain relevant, timely, and unable to perform decision-making analysis due to a lack of time to actually consume the data so the industry has to work hard and spend a lot of money to produce quality information. Business intelligence and big data are forms of implementation that can answer the needs of all the hospitality and tourism industries. The purpose of this research paper is to explore, study, and discuss the results of a comprehensive analysis of many journal articles in understanding research related to the positive impacts in hospitality and tourism sector (especially in industry) after implementing business intelligence and big data based on empirical findings by employing a systematic literature review method from academic journal articles that have been indexed in the Scopus database and the Web of Science. Business intelligence and big data play a crucial role in an organization's digital transformation attempts in general in companies in hospitality and tourism industry, thereby can create a competitive advantage and be able to encourage greater effectiveness, efficiency, and strategies to determine new business models and bring successful and useful change for numerous company businesses in hospitality and tourism industry for numerous company businesses within the in hospitality and tourism industry
In the digital era, technological advances are always evolving as well as urban problems in a city. A smart city is an implementation in dealing with urban problems by providing public services. This public service is also related to one of the uses of applications that are integrated with ICT in public services. Smart cities also have various types of applications that can be used to provide services to the community. The progress of the internet of things and big data analysis has become the infrastructure in implementing smart city applications. This study aims to classify 25 cities that implement smart cities based on smart applications used using a systematic literature review method. With this research, researchers are expected to be able to identify the types of smart city applications that are classified in each city.
