II. Modelling of a Heat ExchangerTwo models for two different control schemes are developed for a parallel flow heat exchanger. First by spatially lumping a heat exchanger model, a good approximate model which has a high system order is produced. Model reduction techniques are applied to these obtain low order models that are suitable for dynamic analysis and control design. The simulation method is discussed to ensure a valid simulation result.
The results presented in this paper demonstrate that good reduced order models can be obtained directly by recursive parameter identification using I/O data of high order nonlinear systems.
This paper presents the analysis, design, and simulation of a load control System for an industrial tire tester. A nonlinear state-space-like representation of the system is developed for system evaluation and design. It is shown that a linearizing feedback control law may be obtained using linear system theory. Simulation results are included to demonstrate the tractability of the control system design being proposed.
INTRODUCTIONIn industry, a large number of practical systems often require the use of hydraulic cylinders to move large loads in a desired manner.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
