The role of social media is very important for the advancement of various fields in this digital era. The existence of a pandemic and the rules that have been set, such as restrictions on the application of community activities have made many small and medium businesses, especially culinary products, have to sell their products online. The Faculty of Tourism of Pelita Harapan University has invited partners of Culinary Department SMKN7 to carry out Community Service (PkM) through a webinar entitled Training on the Use of Social Media in Promotion of Culinary Products. This PkM provides training to students of the Catering Department to be able to sell culinary products that are produced to be easily accepted by the community by utilizing the role of social media. This PkM is expected to be a lesson to broaden your horizons on how to use promotional strategies by maximizing the use of social media roles in promoting culinary products you want to sell. The method used is to conduct webinars with the zoom application. This webinar provides the results of a better understanding of the participants to increase creativity in developing strategies for compiling the content of the culinary products produced so that they are more accessible to the public.
Wisata Gastronomi memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pengunjung pariwisata, menjadi lebih dari sekadar makanan. Gastronomi Wisata memakai cakupan Gastronomi, yakni Cerita Makanan - yang berkaitan dengan cerita dibalik makanan, Penyajian Makan – berkaitan dengan bagaimana makanan sampai ke meja) dan Tata Cara Makan yang merupakan tata cara mengkonsumsi makanan dan minuman. Indonesia dengan keberagaman budayanya, juga memiliki tata cara makan yang terbentuk dari setiap daerahnya. Makan bajamba adalah salah satu contoh tradisi Sumatera Barat duduk bersama dalam satu ruangan, berkumpul dan makan bersama. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk meninjau potensi gastronomi dari Bajamba dengan menggunakan metodelogi deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian adalah Makan Bajamba memiliki potensi wisata gastronomi yang dapat dikembangkan dan dijadikan ikon wisata. Gastronomy Tourism uses the scope of Gastronomy, namely Food Story - relating to the story behind food, Food Assessment - relating to how food gets to the table) and Table Manners which is the procedure for consuming food and drinks. Indonesia, with its cultural diversity, also has eating tradition that are formed from each region. Bajamba is an example of a tradition from the West Sumatra region, which entails gathering in a room and sharing food together.This study aimed to review the gastronomic potential of Bajamba by using a qualitative descriptive methodology. Purpose: This study was to test Sensory Experience Tourist Equity, Affective Experience, Tourist Delight, Cognitive, Behavioral Experience, Tourist Delight, Tourist Equity effect on Tourist Loyalty. Theoretically framework: The article is portraited various research which includes quantitative, and case studies available in various databases like a web of science, Scopus is illustrated for a better understanding of the topic. Design/methodology/approach: This study are tourism tourists who have visited Huta Tinggi once a year. The sample in this study were 200 respondents using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of tourists who had visited Huta Tinggi once a year. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method. The data collection tool in this study used a questionnaire. Data analysis using PLS-SEM. Findings: showed that Affective Experience had a positive and significant effect on Tourist Delight, Cognitive Experience had a positive and significant effect on Tourist Delight and Tourist Equity, Sensory Experience had a positive and significant effect on Tourist Delight and Tourist Equity, Social Experience had a positive and significant effect on Tourist Delight and Tourist Equity, Tourist Delight has a positive and significant effect on Tourist Equity, Tourist Delight has a positive and significant effect on Tourist Loyalty, Tourist Equity has a positive and significant effect on Tourist Loyalty. Originality/value: This study provides empirical evidence and will be a useful guide for tourism in building more strategic destinations for tourists' enjoyment or tourist delight.
