This study aims to identify sustainable development related-competencies that can be adopted into senior high school history curriculum. The study used a survey method to 128 history teachers selected based on geographical location (69 teachers from the lowlands and 59 teachers from the highlands) and their teaching experience (a range of less than 10 years and more than 10 years). The data are collected using a questionnaire in the form of rating scale that had been examined related its validity, reliability, and each of its items’ discriminating power. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANOVA. The results show that the sustainable development related-competencies that are potentially integratable into the senior high school history curriculum are those related to socio-cultural dimension which consists of the competences to preserve the socio-cultural environment and to preserve socio-cultural diversity. The conclusion of this study is that competencies related to education for sustainable development have the potential to be integrated into the senior high school history curriculum.
Asesmen Nasional terdiri atas Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM), Survei Karakter dan Survei Lingkungan Belajar. Kemampuan literasi pada AKM terdiri dari konten teks informasi dan teks fiksi dengan menekankan siswa untuk mampu memahami, mengevaluasi, dan mereflesikan teks pada soal dengan tujuan mengembangkan individu untuk bisa mengembangkan dirinya secara maksimal sebagai warga negara Indonesia. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan SD Negeri Lialang dengan tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas V dalam menyelesaikan soal simulasi Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti itu sendiri. Objek pada penelitian merupakan lembar tes simulasi siswa kelas V sebanyak 30 siswa. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemampuan literasi siswa kelas V mendapatkan hasil bahwa dari 30 siswa, sebanyak 20 siswa atau 66,67% pada berkemampuan sedang.
This study aims to identify History subject materials that can be integrated with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) for curriculum development in high schools. This research uses the documentation study method which is collaborated with the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method. Data validation of FGD results was carried out with expert judgment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that there were historical subject materials which made it possible to be integrated with ESD. The conclusion of this research is that the history subjects in high school have the potential to be integrated with ESD so that this can be a significant point in the development of the history curriculum in high school.
The purpose of this research is to analyse the effectiveness of the information processing learning model in improving Arabic reading skills for Islamic senior high school students. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test post-test design which are consist of the experimental group and the control group. The treatment was carried out systematically based on the eight steps of learning in the information processing model. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and t-tests. The findings of the study stated that the learning model of statistical information processing can improve student performance related to the ability to read Arabic, but in terms of achievement, the effectiveness of this learning model is still below the minimum standards expected.
Kemampuan numerik merupakan kemampuan yang dimiliki manusia supaya memahami, penerapan, serta memaknai Matematika ke bentuk yang berbeda. Kemampuan ini juga termasuk dalam kemampuan bernalar tingkat tinggi yang dimiliki seseorang dan kemampuan dalam suatu permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan angka-angka. Tujuan penelitian ini sebagai mengidentifikasi kemampuan numerik siswa kelas V dengan melakukan tes uji coba dengan soal bertipe higher order of thinking skill (HOTS). Penelitian yang dipakai ialah kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas V yang terdiri dari 35 siswa di SDN Lialang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan tes uji coba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan numerik siswa memiliki persentase banyaknya 53,33% siswa berada pada kelompok berkemampuan sedang dan 46,67% siswa berada pada kelompok berkemampuan rendah.
