Caring is a maintainingrelationships with mutual respect for other accompanied by feeling of belonging and responsibility. Caring behavior is an emotional support in providing nursing care to protect patient, enhance human dignity, and it was the care wich made a diffrence from other profession. Turpose to know description caring behavior of nurse at Pediatric Care Unit Method: this study was a descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The responden was chosen based on total sampling which were 13 samples by using observation sheet. Result: This study showed that caring behaviot of nurse at Pediatric Care Unit 13 nurse (100%) was in good category, with sub variable according to five dimension of Swanson theory that is maintaining belief with mean 57,7%. Sub variable knowing of nurse (100%) was in good category with mean 92,3%, sub variable being with was good category 13 nurse (100%) with mean 96,5%. Doing for behavior so as in good category 16 nurse (100%) with mean 98,5% and enabling behavior in good category 16 nurse (100%) with mean 80%. Discussion: caring behavior of nurse at Pediatric Care Unit at Tabanan General Hospital is good category. Keywords: Caring Behavior, Nurse, Pediatric Care Unit
Introduction: Hospitalization is a crisis that occurs in children when they are sick and hospitalized. Pre-school children who undergo hospitalization try to adapt to the hospital environment so that it will be a stressor for both children and parents which can cause anxiety. The reactions shown by pre-school children who underwent hospitalization were rebellious, issued inappropriate words, and were less cooperative when nursing actions were carried out. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of hospitalization on pre-school children (aged 3-6 years) in the Anggrek Room of the Regional General Hospital of Tabanan Regency. Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a cross sectional approach, respondents were selected by purposive sampling with a sample of 30 pre-school children using an observation sheet. Results: This study shows that the description of the impact of hospitalization on pre-school children in the Anggrek Room is in the high category of 19 respondents (63.3%) and in the low category of 11 respondents (36.7%). It was also found that most of those who were treated were aged 3 years as many as 14 respondents (47.6%), male sex as many as 17 (56.7%), most of whom are only children (50%), have parents, most of whom have high school education (63.4%), some have undergone hospitalization (50%), and some with chronic disease (50%). Conclusion: The impact of hospitalization on school children (aged 3-6 years) in the Orchid Room of the Regional General Hospital of Tabanan Regency is in the high category.
Background and purpose: Cervical and breast cancers are the most common malignancies among women in Indonesia. The prevalence of cervical cancer in Bali was 0.6% in 2013. Screening coverage for cervical cancer in Tabanan district varies from 37% to 67%. This study aims to determine factors associated to cervical cancer screening uptake among reproductive-aged women.Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted at Baturiti Subdistrict, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province. This study involved 188 reproductive-aged women. Samples were randomly selected from all reproductive-aged women from two villages of Baturiti and Angseri. Data were collected using home interviews by a standardised questionnaire. Multivariate analysis was conducted using poisson regression model to determine factors associated to cervical cancer screening uptake.Results: This study showed that the proportion of cervical cancer screening was 38.83%. Variables associated to the uptake of cervical cancer screening were comprehensive knowledge about cervical cancer (APR=10.16; 95%CI: 4.33-24.76), insurance holder (APR=2.95; 95%CI: 1.38-6.64) and aged of ≥40 years (APR=1.26; 95%CI: 1.01-1.59). Education level, employment status and perceived benefits were not associated with the screening uptake among reproductive-aged women.Conclusions: Level of knowledge about cervical cancer, insurance ownership and aged over 40 years increase the cervical screening uptake among reproductive-aged women.
Latar belakang: Gadget pada masa sekarang ini dianggap sebagai media yang sangat berpengaruh dalam kehidupan manusia, karena gadget dapat digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi, memperoleh informasi, media belajar serta media hiburan. Adanya gadget dapat memberikan dampak pada prestasi belajar peserta didik khususnya siswa sekolah dasar. Tujuan: Untuk Mengetahui hubungan penggunaan gadget terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV dan V di SD N 3 Candikuning. Metode: Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan cross sectional. Pada 52 orang yang dipilih secara sampel jenuh. Dikumpulkan data dengan kuesioner penggunaan gadget dan evaluasi belajar siswa. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah kolerasi spearman rank dengan signifikansi 0,05. Hasil: Pada penelitian ditemukan sebagian besar penggunaan gadget sedang sebanyak 25 orang (48,1%) dan prestasi belajar sebagian besar baik sebanyak 28 orang dengan persentase 53,8%. Hasil kolerasi spearman rank didapatkan nilai signifikan 0.00 lebih kecil dari signifikan tabel 0,05. Simpulan: Ada hubungan penggunaan gadget terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV dan V di SD N 3 Candikuning.
Background: Children who regularly eat breakfast have enough energy to receive lessons at school than children who skip breakfast. Children who skip breakfast often show weakness, dizziness or fainting. These things really do not support the learning process because learning concentration is disturbed. In learning activities, concentration plays an important role in achieving a conducive learning atmosphere because it reflects children's cognitive abilities. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between breakfast and the level of learning concentration in grade 4-6 at Tiyinggading 1 Public Elementary School. Method: This research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique is Total Sampling. The research subjects were 41 students of grade 4-6 at Tiyinggading 1 Public Elementary School. The independent variable includes breakfast habits and the dependent variable is the level of concentration. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Result: The average percentage of breakfast for children in grades 4-6 at Tiyinggading 1 State Elementary School is 34 people, 83%. The category of learning concentration for children in grades 4-6 at SD Negeri 1 Tiyinggading has a good average, namely 31 people 76% and there is a significant relationship between breakfast and the level of learning concentration with a value of p = 0.001. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that breakfast is related to the level of learning concentration, therefore parents are expected to provide their children with breakfast in order to increase brain performance where breakfast has benefits in providing energy to the brain so that it can help improve memory, reduce the risk of anemia. and concentration while studying.
