Learning media development pop-up-based science is a means to help children understand and improve the cognitive ability of children in science. The purpose of this research is: (1) to develop learning science through the media pop-up, (2) to know the application of learning science through the media pop-up, (3) to find out about learning student understanding of science after using the media pop-up. This research uses the methods of research and development (R D &). This study refers to the development of the model of the Dick and Carey. Procedures for developing instructional media pop-up-based science uses several steps, as follows: needs analysis, product design, design and conduct formative evaluation (testing for individuals, the Council groups small, field trial), revision. The results of the validation of the content reaches the level of the validity of the 82%, design validation media reaches 91% and the validity of the classroom teacher reached 90%. This suggests that the learning media worthy and this can be used in the learning process. The cognitive ability of children who use the media pop-up learning increasing, it can be seen from the average percentage value before tests from 61.1 be 88.3. So, by using the pop-up media children understand more about the learning of science
Life skills of early childhood consist of personal skills and social skills. In life skills-based education in early childhood is of course related to aspects of child development, namely physical, cognitive, language, social emotional, and spiritual. This research method uses normative research, with the approach used in life skills-based education is a contextual approach. While the methods used are interactive methods, role playing, open discussion and small group activities can also use modeling, observation, situation analysis, one to one rehearsal, debates, and games as a method of theaching life skills. This life skills-based early childhood education program consists of daily living skills and personal or social skills with practical life, sensory, mathematics, language art, and cultural activities that are useful for children’s personal development.
The purpose of this research is to see the influence of the level of breastfeeding in the cognitive orientation of children4 – 6 years old in Malang. This study uses analytical research methods using a descriptive cross sectional approach or in other words the study uses the type of correlational research. The sampling techniques on this study were taken with random sampling cluster techniques. While sample data sources are selected purposive and snowball sampling. Data collection instruments to assess the rate of feeding is the feeding questionnaire and the biodata of parents and children. To assess the level of intelligence conducted IQ test with WPPSI test instrument (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence) conducted by a psychologist. Data analysis on this research is quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis was conducted to see the level of cognitive feeding for children aged 4 – 6 years. It will be described through descriptive statistics presented in the form of tables and graphs. From the study of the rate of breast feeding in the orientation of Islamic children 4 – 6 years old in Malang, only 54% of the proportion of mothers give exclusive breast milk to more than 4 months. Infants with an exclusive rate of breastfeeding of no more than 4 months have a risk of 7.325 times greater to develop a distorted development compared to a child who is given more than 4 months of breastfeeding. Children with long lactation ≥ 6 months have higher cognitive function than children with long lactation < 6 months. Based on the objectives and results of synthesis analysis can be obtained several conclusions that there is relevance between the perspective of the Qur'an about the delivery of breast milk with the results of research.
Swakriya atau yang sering kita kenal dengan DIY (do it yourself) memungkinkan seseorang untuk membuat atau memodifikasi sesuatu sendiri dengan bahan yang ada di sekitarnya. Banyak industri kreatif saat ini memanfaatkan barang bekas sebagai benda yang bernilai jual tinggi karena bermanfaat bagi kehidupan sehari-hari. Bahkan swakriya berkembang dalam berbagai pelatihan membuat kreasi kerajinan, daur ulang hingga produk rumah tangga (handmade). Sehingga tujuan pelatihan swakriya di kelurahan Kebonsari untuk mengembangkan produk ekonomi kreatif dari barang bekas menjadi benda fungsional. Metode kaji yang digunakan adalah PAR (Participatory Action Research) yang dimulai dari analisis permasalahan dan kebutuhan di wilayah kelurahan kebonsari, kemudian merencanakan pelatihan sebagai upaya kemandirian ekonomi, setelah itu melakukan tindakan berupa pelatihan swakriya dari barang bekas menjadi benda fungsional, dan tahap akhirnya yaitu evaluasi dan refleksi. Produk akhir dari pelatihan ini adalah rak dari kardus bekas, jilbab jumput, dan vas bunga. Produk tersebut nantinya sebagai modal usaha masyarakat kelurahan kebonsari
