This research aims to identify the strategies used and find out the effective strategies used by the second-semester students of English Education Study Program in learning vocabulary. This research applied qualitative research, especially case study. The participants were 20 students filling out the questionnaires and six students answering the interviews. The participants of this research were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The instruments of data collection were questionnaires and interviews. The data gathered were analyzed by google form and descriptively. The data analysis results show that most students always use an electronic dictionary to find out the meaning of a word in determination strategies. Next, in social strategies, most students prefer to interact with their friends through group discussion in class or asking the meaning of a new word. Then, in memory strategies, most students often remember a new word from its pronounced. In cognitive strategies, they often use context in the text to explain the meaning of a word. While, in metacognitive strategies, most students often use an English song to learn new words and watch videos related to the deep pronunciation of English. The effective strategies were watching videos or movies. Then, they often make new vocabulary notes to memorize the words and remember a new word when it is pronounced. They also use an electronic dictionary to find out the meaning of the word. In general, most second-semester students almost use all the strategies in the taxonomy of vocabulary learning strategies. The strategies most often used are using media, electronic dictionaries, interacting with other people, remembering new words when they are pronounced, and using context in the text to explain the new word's meaning.

Honor/upah adalah hak pekerja yang diterima dan dinyatakan dalam bentuk uang sebagai imbalan (adil dan layak) dari pihak sekolah kepada pelatih tari yang ditetapkan dan dibayarkan menurut suatu perjanjian kerja atau kesepakatan kerja. Honor/upah termasuk ke dalam pembahasan al-ijārah, yaitu menggunakan jasa tenaga seseorang untuk melakukan suatu pekerjaan dengan upah sebagai imbalan jasa atas pekerjaan yang telah dilakukan. Praktek pengupahan pelatih tari di sekolah Aceh Besar terjadi antara pelatih tari dengan kepala sekolah, yang mana pelatih tari tersebut diminta untuk melatih tari/seni kepada siswa-siswi di sekolah tersebut dengan honor/upah yang telah disepakati bersama. Penetapan honor/upah tersebut berbeda-beda tergantung tempat sekolah ia bekerja. Namun saat bekerja ada sebagian pelatih yang diberikan pekerjaan tambahan tanpa diikuti dengan penambahan upah, pembayaran yang menunda sehingga membuat si pelatih merasa tidak rela dan terpaksa dalam bekerja/melatih tari. Pertanyaan penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah bagaimanakah penetapan sistem honor pada pelatih tarian di sekolah-sekolah Aceh Besar. Apakah sistem penetapan honor pada pelatih tarian telah sesuai dengan perspektif ‘aqad al-Ijārah. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap pemberian honor/upah pada pelatih tari di sekolah Aceh Besar tersebut tidak sesuai dengan konsep al-ijārah. Sebagian pelatih tari merasa adanya ketidakadilan dalam pemberian upah, yang mana pada kesepakatan awal pihak pelatih tari hanya diminta untuk melatih tari dengan upah yang telah disepakati. Namun di kemudian hari pihak pelatih tari mendapatkan penambahan jadwal dan pekerjaan dalam mengajarkan yang lain seperti selawat badar untuk persiapan maulid nabi tanpa diikuti dengan adanya tambahan upah/bonus. Padahal honor/upah di dalam Islam harus sesuai dengan prinsip adil dan layak, maksudnya adalah bahwa setiap pekerjaan yang dilakukan baik itu pekerjaan berat maupun yang ringan, maka harus mendapatkan imbalan/upah sesuai dengan pekerjaan yang telah dilakukan. Kewajiban yang dilakukan dengan hak yang diperoleh harus seimbang, agar tidak ada pihak yang merasa dirugikan atau terzalimi.
