Globalisasi mengakibatkan perkembangan dunia ekonomi dan bisnis bergerak sangat cepat, dinamis dan terus berubah. Generasi millennial atau generasi Y merupakan generasi terbanyak saat ini dan menjadi aset bagi kemajuan perusahaan. Sehingga, untuk menghadapi tantangan perubahan ini generasi millennial memerlukan learning agility, yaitu kesediaan untuk belajar dan menerapkan hal yang telah dipelajari dalam situasi baru. Namun, generasi millennial dikenal sebagai generasi yang instan, cepat bosan, dan kurang tangguh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuck mengetahui gambaran learning agiity pada generasi millennial di Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Kuesioner dibuat berdasarkan empat dimensi learning agility dari Choices Quetionnaire (Eichinger & Lombardo, 1997). Empat dimensi dari learning agility terdiri dari people agility, results agility, change agility, dan mental agility. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 136 orang dengan kriteria usia generasi millennial, berusia 18- 37 tahun dan merupakan karyawan tetap di sebuah organisasi di Jakarta. Teknik analisa data deskriptif menggunakan perbandingan mean hipotetik dan mean empirik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan learning agility karyawan generasi millennial berada pada kategori tinggi. Dari hasil penormaan setiap dimensi, diketahui keempat dimensi juga berada di kategori tinggi. Karyawan generasi millennial memiliki keinginan yang tinggi untuk belajar, fleksibel untuk menghadapi perubahan. Being the current most prominent generation, the millennial generation, also known as generation Y serves as an asset for company development. Therefore, in order to overcome this challenge of change, the millennial generation requires learning agility, which i a willingness to learn and apply what has been learned in new situations. The work attitude of the millennial generation in overcoming change still requires investigation, that organizations can have better understanding of their employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of learning agility of millennial employees in Jakarta. The research method used was descriptive quantitative research. The research instrument was constructed based on four dimensions of learning agility, namely = people agility, results agility, change agility, and mental agility. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. Participants of the study were 136 millenials who worked as full-time employees aged 18-37 years. Descriptive data analysis was conducted by comparing hypothetical mean and empirical mean, along with differential test with independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA. Results show that the learning agility of millennial generation employees was considered high. The mean score of mental agility was the highest, followed by results agility, change agility and the lowest mean score was people agility. The differential test found no differences in learning agility based on age and gender.
Badminton is the largest contributor to Indonesia's sports achievements in the international arena. High achievement motivation necessary for athletes to be able to maximize the achievement. However, there are problems of anxiety experienced by adolescent athletes PB Jaya Raya Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of anxiety to the achievement motivation in adolescent atheletes in PB Jaya Raya Jakarta. This study uses quantitative methods with the type of causal comparative research. The study involved 158 adolescents who have been through the assessment stage of self-criticism with an age range of 15-21 years. Characteristics of the subjects in this study, namely young men and women athletes, aged 12-18 years, and active to practice. Data can be obtained using the research instrument which are then analyzed using SPSS 17. Researcher looked at the effect of self-concept on the purchase intention by using simple linear regression techniques. The analysis results, showing that the anxiety have a significant influence on the achivement motivation. The effect from self-concept by 23,3%, so there are 76.7% other factors that influence. Therefore, it is advisable to adolescent badminton athletes in order to better control the anxiety in the match and more motivated to achievement.
<p><em>Badminton is one of popular sports and has resulted many achievements in Indonesia. The effort of Indonesian Badminton Union (Persatuan Bulutangkis Seluruh Indonesia) to regenerate young talented players is the shuttletime program in which they collaborate with schools to teach badminton. Competition anxiety has become a psychological factor that hinders players’ performance. Amateur athletes are more easily feel anxious compare with professionals’ athletes because of the lack of experiences in competition and emotion management. Anxiety reduction training sometimes is not a priority as happened at UNJ badminton club. The aime of this research is to identify the effectivity of anxiety management training towards competition anxiety among UNJ adolescents’ athletes. Anxiety training that gave to them was relaxation technique and self talk. This research was experimental research which is one group design. The treatment was anxiety training, the anxiety tes was given before and after training. The results revealed t score= 0.201 with sig 0.842 > 0.05, mean the anxiety treatment still could not decreased anxiety. <p><em>Many shopping centers try to create an environment that makes consumers feel comfortable when they do shopping. Hedonic shopping motivation relates to contentment and enjoyment by shopping experience, it creates happiness feeling. Hedonic shopping motivation can not be separated from the role of culture in the society. This research aimed to know the relationship between individualist-collective culture with hedonic shopping motivation among people in Jakarta. The research used non ecperimental quantitative research. The data was collected by distributing hedonic shopping motivation and individualist-collective culture questionnaire. Total respondents in this research were 134 people. The results revealed collective culture (mean= 18.33) has higher mean rather than individualist culture (mean= 17.29). Statistic analysis with Spearman Coorelation, r= 0.187 ad p= 0.031 < 0.05. Meanwhile, individualistic culture showed no coorelation with hedonic shopping motivation, r= 0.164 and p= 0.059 >0.05. Collective culture also had significant relationship with role shopping (r= 0.241, p= 0.005), social shopping (r=0.179, p= 0.038) and value shopping (r= 0.241, p= 0.042). The research concluded people in Jakarta tend to have collective culture. <p>Penggunaan internet sudah sangat meluas dalam kehidupan masa kini, hampir setiap individu memiliki akses untuk menggunakan internet. Namun, pada batasan tertentu penggunaan internet yang seharusnya positif dapat berubah menjadi negatif karena adanya efek kecanduan. Pada penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya telah diperoleh hasil mengenai adanya komorbid efek candu internet dengan depresi, masalah sosial, maupun kecemasan. Penggunaan internet yang berlebihan dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal seseorang. Sedangkan pada masa kini, komunikasi menjadi hal yang penting dalam kehidupan manusia, khususnya bagi para remaja yang masih pada tahap perkembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah hubungan antara internet adiktif dengan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 400 remaja usia 15-19 tahun di wilayah Jakarta. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik <em>purposive sampling</em>. Dalam penelitian ini internet adiktif diukur dengan menggunakan <em>Internet Addiction Test </em>yang dibawakan oleh Young, dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0.819 dan pengukuran keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal dengan menggunakan alat ukur keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal berdasarkan dimensi Joseph DeVito, reliabilitas yang diperoleh sebesar 0.881. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai uji korelasi r <em>pearson</em> sebesar -0.167 dan nilai signifikansi 0.001. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif antara internet adiktif dengan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal namun dalam kategori sangat rendah.</p>
