Decision making is the most important thing that school principals have to perform as part of their role as a school manager. Provided that principals are proficient or has mastered various models for appropriate decision making, both organized and unorganized, in accordance with what is needed by current situations and conditions, the decision might then produce maximum results. This study focused on investigating a model of decision making, be it organized and unorganized, performed by a school principal at at MTs Irsyadud Diniyah Bantaran District, Probolinggo Regency. The general objective of this study was to describe the model of both organized and unorganized level performed by a school principal in MTs Irsyadud Diniyah, Bantaran District, Probolinggo Regency. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, the research subjects were selected through purposive sampling technique. Techniques for collecting data were done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through inductive reasonings, and the validity of the data was ascertained through source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the study show that, first, the model of decision making performed by a school principal at MTs Irsyadud Diniyah used a model of decision-making on the bases of group discussions, voting, etc. Second, the unorganized decision-making model performed by the principal at MTs Irsyadud Diniyah was based on opinion submission and voting as well as a group-based decision-making model.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of satisfaction of guardians of students who live far away (more than 3 kilometers) and guardians of students who live near (less than 3 kilometers) of SMPN 1 Jember with respect to the New Student Registration (PPDB) zoning system.The research method used is qualitative. The research implementation stage is a preliminary study, determining research methods, collecting data, analyzing data, validating data, and compiling reports. Research informants were determined purposively. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions.The results of the study found that first, an analysis of the level of satisfaction of the guardians of students who live far from SMPN 1 Jember to the PPDB zoning system that is not satisfied. The guardians of students hope that the implementation of new student admissions through the zoning system may continue to be enforced on the condition that they continue to provide equal opportunities to students who will enter through the zoning route. Second, the analysis of the level of satisfaction of parents who live near from SMPN 1 Jember to the PPDB zoning system is not satisfied because even though their children can easily enter through the zoning system, it is still hoped that there will be a balance between the zoning path and achievement.
This study is aimed at conducting a need analysis on the existence of English materials for the students of elementary level in an inclusive classroom. The data is obtained from inclusive teacher who has ELT undergraduate educational background and the students of pre-service training of PGMI at IAIN Jember. The result shows that teacher takes a very important role in conducting an inclusive classroom in primary level due to the fact that they have to prepare materials and activities specifically for the students who have social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties (SEBD). Listening and speaking skill (oracy cycle) are considered as the first skills to be taught and introduced to the students of primary level in order to be able to make interrelationship with others more easily. English materials that compatible with the students of primary level in an inclusive classroom are the materials that encourage their multiple intelligences and recognize their learning style. The teaching procedure is emphasized on the role play in the form of guided instruction flowing from fully guided, partly guided, to fully free learning so the scaffolding of presenting materials which emphasized on touching their feeling can improve their sense of empathy and sense of taking care of others as well as building their social skill.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of students facing changes in offline learning from a psychological perspective and learning achievement.The research method used is qualitative. the research was conducted at MTs Al Hidayah Jember with a research time of approximately one year consisting of the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the final stage. The research data source used the purposive sampling method. sources of research data namely students and teachers. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity uses four criteria, namely credibility, dependability, transferability, and confirmatory. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data exposure, and drawing conclusions (verification).The results of the study found that first, the implementation of changes in learning from online to offline can stabilize students' psychological development. Second, the implementation of changes from online to offline learning can increase student achievement.
