Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of commitment and customer’s satisfaction on the relationship between service quality and customer retention. Design/methodology/approach The research was conducted on the entire customer rural banks (BPR) in Makassar, South Sulawesi Province; the sample size comprised 300 respondents. Analysis equipment used in this study is a quantitative approach that is inferential statistical analysis with structural equation modeling based variance is known as a method WarpPLS. Findings The results of the analysis show that there is significant influence between the variables of service quality, commitment, customer satisfaction, and customer retention. It was also found that the results of the variables commitment and customer satisfaction mediate the effect of service quality on customer’s retention. Originality/value The study showed the mediation effect (using the Sobel test) of service quality on customer retention using commitment and customer satisfaction as intervening variables in rural banks; and the study was conducted in the customer rural banks (BPR) in Makassar, South Sulawesi Province, where no such study for this relationship has been conducted previously.
Cyberloafing merupakan kegiatan penggunaan internet yang berkaitan dengan hobi pegawai atau pengalihan kejenuhan atau stress kerja dengan berbagai hiburan yang ada diinternet pada jam kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Role Ambiguity, Role Conflict dan Role Overload Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dimediasi Perilaku Cyberloafing pada Biro Akademik dan Umum Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada Biro Akademik dan Umum Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dan analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 25.0. Adapun analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan role ambiguity, role conflict, dan role overload, terhadap perilaku cyberloafing pegawai. (2) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan role ambiguity, role conflict, role overload, dan cyberloafing terhadap kinerja pegawai. (3) Terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan role ambiguity, role conflict, dan role overload terhadap kinerja pegawai dimediasi perilaku cyberloafing
This study aims to analyze the factors affecting business performance and competitive advantages in modern retail stores in Makassar City. The purposive sampling method was used by selecting 100 respondents who privately own a modern retail store for more than 5 years. Data were analyzed using path analysis in SPSS 21 Programs. The results found that competitive advantages had a positive and significant effect on variable market orientation, marketplace innovation, and entrepreneurial orientation factors in modern retail stores in Makassar City. Market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation are also found to impact business performance. In this study, competitive advantage can mediate the effect of market orientation and market place innovation on business performance
This study aimed to analyze the impact of interests, security risks, and financial behavior on new tools in transactions (e-money). Five direct relationships have been built resulting in two equations. To evaluate the model, the study distributed questionnaires to 110 respondents from seven different companies. With the use of path analysis, the model is then tested. On the basis of the statistical results, the findings show that consumer interest and safety risk have a positive and significant impact on financial behavior. To the relationship to electronic money, customer interest and financial behavior indicate a positive and significant relationship. Interestingly, customer safety risk did not show an insignificant result.
The purpose of this study to see the effect of the campaigning for green marketing. This research aims to determine the effect of green marketing, service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The method used is a quantitative method with descriptive and causality research types, as well as the SEM-PLS analysis method. The final sample was 224 Starbucks Coffee customers in Makassar City. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that green marketing and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty either directly or through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable.
