Less optimal learning of science results in low learning outcomes of science. In overcoming this, it is necessary to apply variative learning in accordance with the demands of the current century, namely 21st century learning. The study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of 21st century learning on science learning outcomes in learners by controlling learning motivation. This research is experimental study. The study population was students of class V of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kupang totaling 92 people and the sample used was 62 people, with a random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using one-way ANAVA test, ANAKOVA test, and product moment test. The instrument used in the form of science learning outcomes tests and questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of the implementation of 21st century learning on science learning outcomes with = 34.984> (0.05; 1:60) = 4.00. 2) There is an effect of the implementation of 21st century learning on science learning outcomes, after learning motivation is controlled by FA * = 36.106> (0.05; 1:59) = 4.00. 3) There is a significant contribution of learning motivation to the learning outcomes of science, by 66%. The implications of this study include: 1) educators play a more active and creative role in shaping 21st century learning in students by not only mastering science as a product, but especially as a process. 2) The implementation of 21st century learning requires patience, determination, creativity, innovation in designing learning so that students actually participate in learning so that the required skills are formed in accordance with the 21st century. 3) Adequate learning facilities to support learning so as to improve learning outcomes in a manner optimal.
Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika merupakan salah satu masalah yang perlu diselesaikan pada peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Masalah tersebut dikarenakan tidak sesuainya penggunaan model pembelajaran dengan materi, pembelajaran yang kurang menyenangkan, minimnya penggunaan media. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran make a match berbasis 4C berbantuan media kartu bilangan dalam meningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan model yang digunakan adalah Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi,serta berlangsung sebanyak dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas II MIN 2 Lembata berjumlah 33 orang yan terdiri dari 15 perempuan dan 18 laki-laki. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode nontes berupa lembar observasi dan metode tes berupa tes objektif. Data dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan antar siklus sebesar 24,24%, dimana siklus I (72,72%) dan siklus II (96,96%). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran make a match berbasis 4C berbantuan media kartu bilangan mampu meningkatkan hasl belajar matematika
Learning outcomes are a reference to the extent to which students succeed. Psychomotor learning outcomes are an important aspect of learning outcomes related to motor skills. The low psychomotor learning outcomes, especially in elementary school science material, demands to be completed one way by applying 21 st century learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of 21 st century learning on psychomotor learning outcomes in natural science material with learning motivation covariables. This research is an experimental study with a single factor independent group design with the use of Covariate. Data analysis used One Way ANOVA, ANACOVA test, and Product Moment Test. Hypothesis test results show F A >Ftable, namely 12.02> 4.00, then F A > F table, namely 17.99> 4.00 and with a contribution of 74%. Thus it can be concluded that using 21 st century learning can improve student psychomotor learning outcomes in natural science material, even after learning motivation is controlled.
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan lembar kerja siswa terhadap penguasaan literasi sains pada materi perubahan wujud benda kelas V SD MI Darul Hijrah Madani Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksperimen dengan jenis pra eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest design” . Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD MI Darul Hijrah Madani Kota Kupang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Dalam pengambilan sampel penggunaan teknik purposive sampling berjumlah 30 orang. Dimana melakukan pretest tanpa adanya perlakuan, kemudian posttest diterapkan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan LKS. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui tes objektif (pilihan ganda) pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan teknis analisis statistika yaitu menggunakan uji T. Setelah dianalisis hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan literasi sains peserta didik antara pretest dan posttest dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan Uji T yakni dengan df 15, nilai signifikansinya 0,000 yang berarti < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Disimpulkan adanya efek yang disignifikan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan LKS terhadap literasi sains peserta didik pada materi perubahan wujud benda kelas V SD MI Darul Hijrah Madani Kota Kupang.
In the 21st century, science literacy is the main competence and indicator to achieve better and more sustainable future. However, limited facilities and resources raise as an issue that have implications to the less optimal application of science literacy empowerment in various regions, including in several areas in East Nusa Tenggara. The objective of this community service is to do mentoring program on the empowerment of science literacy for students at emergency schools in NTT. The target is school-age children living in the island who are subjected to illiteracy due to lack of supporting educational facilities. Methods implemented were through these four stages: (1) initial observation of the area, (2) mapping the problem, (3) socializing the programs, and (4) organizing the science literacy movement. The activities carried out were making educational learning media utilizing plastic waste, creating a reading corner equipped with some interesting books as additional references for children and parents to know about the outside world, creating educational games and actions for the natural surroundings. The results of the observation confirm that the community service program run effectively. It is indicated that the community service project is able to foster students’ interest in reading, writing, and arithmetic. This community service activity is expected to take part in the eradicating illiteracy rate and reducing number of productive age dropouts in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
