Background: People with schizophrenia require long-term care and treatment. The high cost of treatment for sufferers makes many families decide to do their treatment at home. Government programs and policies such as Community Mental Health Nursing (CMHN) are one of the hopes of families to help them. Changes in the situation due to caring for people with schizophrenia need to be balanced with psychological adaptation by family members so that family acceptance characterizes an adaptive response. Objective: This article will provide information about factors related to family acceptance. Methods: This research used the systematic review method by utilizing eight electronic databases such as Scopus, DOAJ, ProQuest, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, PubMed, and SAGE from January 2012 to 2022. Articles obtained from electronic databases are related to relevant topics in a total of 79 articles, displaying only 20 articles analyzed that meet the criteria. The keywords used are "family acceptance" and "schizophrenia", "schizophrenia OR family OR acceptance". Results: Acceptance is an essential aspect of the family's psychological adaptation journey. Acceptance is related to a person's ability to face and undergo situations that are presented to him voluntarily. Stigma can reduce family confidence in caring for sufferers, thus requiring expectations, attitudes, experiences, social support, and convenience in health services. Conclusions: Other efforts are needed, apart from the sufferer's family, but also the support of other people and the community. In addition, health professionals like physicians or nurses are needed as role models not to discriminate against and stigmatize families and sufferers.
Indonesia have various form of schools both regular and pesantren-based. The student of pesantren or Islamic Boarding School lack of time to be able to gather with family and home environment and cause problems in the mental health of the students. This study aims to analyze the relationship of social support with the mental health of students in Islamic Boarding School conducted in May 2020. The design used in this study is observasional (cross sectional), the population is all male students in F block totaling 50 people, the sample is part students totally 42 people. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, the instruments used were social support questionnaire and Mental Health Inventory. Data collected by sharing the google form link, then the data was coding, editing, tabulating and analyzed univariate by percentage and bivariate by the Sommers'd test. The results showed that social support of large students in the medium category was 30 people (71.4%), mental health of almost all students had mental health with a prosperous enough life of 36 people (85.7%), and there was a fairly strong relationship between social support with mental health with a value of co-eficient correlation 0.434 and p-value 0.007 which is possible due to various factors such as the age of the student, length of stay in boarding school, support from friends or parents. Based on the results of the study it is suggested that teacher at Islamic boarding school must conduct communication activities more often so that students can talk about problems they are facing and not feel alone.
Introduction: Broken home families are an unfavorable condition and can cause disruption of adolescent development and can lead to juvenile delinquency and psychological disorders such as stress, anxiety, and depression. This phenomenon can certainly have a detrimental impact on adolescents if not treated immediately. Objective: The potential for mental health problems or juvenile delinquency will increase if no efforts are made. The provision of mental health and psychosocial support to adolescents who experience a broken home is expected to provide an intervention so that adolescents do not experience health problems, especially in their mental state. Method: The method used in this service is the first to conduct mental health screening on broken home adolescents using SRQ 29, then the service team provides education about broken homes and education about psychosocial disorders in adolescents. The next stage is that the youth and the team carry out Mind fullness Sharia Islam (MSI). Service activities were carried out using Zoom meetings due to the Covid 19 Pandemic conditions. The last activity carried out was to evaluate the emotional mental health of adolescents using SRQ 29. Results: The results of the screening with SRQ showed that 21 adolescents experienced psychosocial disorders, namely 13 adolescents experienced anxiety, 7 adolescents experienced PTSD and one teenager experienced drugs. After educating and giving MSI, adolescents understand about broken homes and additions, characteristics of psychosocial disorders and have strengths after MSI is done. Conclusion: Based on the results above, it is hoped that support for broken home teenagers can be given with positive activities and appropriate interventions.
Tren gangguan kesehatan jiwa saat ini banyak dilatar belakangi oleh penyalahgunaan alkohol, zat adiktif, dan beberapa kondisi penyakit seperti penyakit kronis maupun penyakit infeksi salah satunya adalah HIV/AIDS. Dari sekian banyak penderita sebagian besar adalah pada kelompok ibu hamil dengan resiko penularan pada janin hamper mencapai 91%. Kondisi tersebut akan berdampak kepada kesehatan jiwa wanita, sehingga kelompok ini memerlukan suatu penanganan secara psikososial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisa artikel yang berhubungan dengan aplikasi model pelayanan kesehatan jiwa pada ibu hail dengan HIV/AIDS. Desain yang digunakan adalah literature review, artikel dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan mesin pencari seperti EBSCO, Sciencedirect, dan Proquest .Kriteria artikel yang digunakan adalah yang diterbitkan tahun 2007-2015.Berdasarkan artikel yang dikumpulkan didapatkan hasil bahwa situasi sosial dan menjadi faktor predisposisi gangguan jiwa.Karena kondisi ini akhirnya individu mengalami ketidakmampuan mengkoping stes, ditambah lagi dukungan dari lingkungan sangat sedikit menyebabkan individu mengembangkan koping yang patologis. Peran perawat dalam memberikan terapi menurut model ini adalah pasien harus menyampaikan masalah menggunakan sumber yag ada dimasyarakat melibatkan teman sejawat, atasan,keluarga atau suami istri. Dan berupaya menggali sistem sosial klien seperti suasana dirumah, dikantor, disekolah, dimasyarakat atau tempat kerja.Saran untuk dilakukan riset mendalam khususnya dengan latar belakang budaya di Indonesia yang beragam.
Mahasiswa baru merupakan individu yang sedang menghadapi masa transisi dari sekolah menengah atas ke dunia perkuliahan.
