The learning process during a pandemic requires teachers to be more interactive in making online learning media. The government has designed the Covid Emergency Curriculum, which is that educational units in their current condition can choose one of the several components needed in the learning process, namely still referring to the national curriculum, using the emergency curriculum, or making curriculum simplification independently. For curriculum simplification, only the main material in learning activities needs to be conveyed, while for practice it can be independently or through an application media. This study aims to create an augmented reality-based learning media on geometry in mathematics subjects for grade 5 elementary school. This media can make it easier for students to understand the shapes with augmented reality and there is a learning video feature that also explains the material presented by the teacher. With the black box white box method, the application is developed by adjusting the curriculum simplification planned by the government. Features in the application include objectives and materials, learning videos, augmented reality simulations and integrated with Google Classroom as a learning evaluation platform. The results of this research are digital applications that can be accessed from the web or android applications.
Integral merupakan salah satu materi yang dipelajari oleh siswa SMA. Materi tersebut merupakan salah satu materi yang sering dipandang cukup sulit untuk dipahami oleh siswa. Siswa juga sering mengalami kendala dalam memahami langkah-langkah pencarian integral dari suatu fungsi. Oleh karena itu, sebagai upaya meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap materi tersebut, dalam paper ini dibahas penggunaan Maple sebagai media pembelajaran matematika yang dapat digunakan dalam rangka membantu siswa SMA dalam memahami materi integral. Maple merupakan sebuah perangkat lunak yang canggih yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis, mengeksplorasi, memvisualisasi, serta menyelasaikan berbagai masalah matematika. Dengan Maple, siswa dapat melihat visualisasi dari konsep integral. Dengan melihat visualisasinya, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih tertarik pada pembelajaran matematika, khususnya materi integral.
Music is the expression of ideas, thoughts and feelings of the creator through the arrangement of tones or sounds to produce sound compositions in the form of songs. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of adolescents on the role of music. The method/approach used in this study is a survey method using a questionnaire to 63 Indonesian teenagers with an age range of 10-24 years. The results showed that 45.3% of teenagers chose the pop genre as their favorite music genre to listen to and the majority of teenagers thought that pop genre music had a role as friends with activities with a percentage of 26.9%. Then 50% of teenagers' moods can be influenced by music. In conclusion, music has a very broad role in the lives of teenagers.
Buku adalah jendela ilmu, namun rendahnya minat membaca di Indonesia masih menjadi masalah tersendiri. Jika dibiarkan, ketertarikan mencari ilmu pada generasi muda dapat menghilang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh seni ilustrasi dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan membaca buku. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara deskriptif-kualitatif yaitu dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka (library research) dan survei. Sampel penelitian adalah 100 responden dengan rentang usia 15-24 tahun sebesar 78% dan usia 25-30 tahun sebesar 22%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ilustrasi pada sampul buku memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan membaca. Sekitar 75% responden menyatakan lebih menyukai sampul buku dengan ilustrasi menarik, warna yang lembut, tipografi yang cocok dengan ilustrasi, dan kesan yang simpel ketika melihat sebuah buku. Oleh karena itu, langkah strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam menarik minat baca generasi muda adalah dengan menyelipkan pengetahuan sains atau sejarah yang valid pada buku yang sedang digemari generasi muda, salah satunya ialah novel. Peneliti percaya bahwa sejatinya kebiasaan membaca buku menimbulkan efek candu atau ketertarikan untuk terus mengetahui informasi yang lain. Jika telah menyukai kebiasaan membaca, maka secara perlahan seorang akan terus mencari pengetahuan baru. The Influence of Illustrated Art in Increasing Interest in Reading (Study of Novel Design by Tere Liye) ABSTRACT Books are a window of knowledge, but the low interest in reading in Indonesia is still a problem. If left unchecked, interest in seeking knowledge in the younger generation can be lost. This study was conducted to determine the effect of illustration art in increasing interest in reading books. The research method is descriptive-qualitative, using a literature study and survey approach. The research sample was 100 respondents with an age range of 15-24 years, 78% and ages 25-30 years, 22%. The results showed that illustrations on book covers have an important role in increasing reading interest. About 75% of respondents stated that they prefer book covers with attractive illustrations, soft colours, typography that matches the illustrations, and a simple impression when looking at them. book. Therefore, a strategic step to attract the younger generation's reading interest is to include valid scientific or historical knowledge in books favoured by the younger generation, one of which is novels. Researchers believe that "reading books" creates an addictive effect or an interest in continuing to know other information. If you already like the habit of reading, slowly, people will continue seeking new knowledge.
Drawing learning methods have the aim to develop children's creativity, both formal and informal schools. Observations made in elementary schools and creative studios have two different types of images, namely storytelling and patterned pictures. Some of the images look engineered, so they do not look typical of children's drawings. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of drawing learning methods in children aged 6-9 years in formal schools and the suitability of the drawing results in the development of the visual language of children's drawings. The study used a mixed-method, descriptive qualitative by collecting photos, videos, behavioral observations. Quantitative by way of tabulating visual language to analyze the picture has a scheme in accordance with the development of the visual language of children's drawings. The theory used is the theory of drawing learning methods and the theory of visual language. The research findings namely, the method of learning to draw free and correlated expressions is very effectively used, because it focuses the child on the process rather than the result. The results of drawings in two schools have results that are in accordance with the stages of the development of the visual language of children's drawings. The method can be used as a reference in learning in formal schools to develop children's creativity. The direct method is not appropriate to use at the elementary school level because it makes the results of children's drawings not in accordance with the language development scheme. Efektivitas Metode Pembelajaran Menggambar Terhadap Perkembangan Bahasa Rupa Gambar Anak Usia 6 – 9 Tahun (Studi Kasus Sekolah Dasar Kota Bandung) Abstrak Metode pembelajaran menggambar memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangakan kreativitas anak, baik sekolah formal maupun informal. Pengamatan yang dilakukan di sekolah dasar dan sanggar kreatif terdapat dua jenis gambar yang berbeda, yaitu gambar bercerita dan berpola. Beberapa gambar terlihat direkayasa, sehingga tidak tampak kekhasan gambar anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode pembelajaran menggambar pada anak usia 6-9 tahun di sekolah formal serta kesesuaian hasil gambar terhadap perkembangan bahasa rupa gambar anak. Penelitian menggunakan metode campuran, kualitatif desktiptif dengan mengumpulkan foto, video, observasi perilaku. Kuantitatif dengan cara tabulasi bahasa rupa untuk menganalisis gambar tersebut memiliki skema yang sesuai dengan perkembangan bahasa rupa gambar anak. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori metode pembelajaran menggambar dan teori bahasa rupa. Temuan penelitian yaitu, metode pembelajaran menggambar ekspresi bebas dan berkorelasi sangat efektif digunakan, karena memfokuskan anak pada proses bukan hasil akhir. Hasil gambar pada dua sekolah memiliki hasil yang sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan bahasa rupa gambar anak. Metode tersebut dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah formal untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak. Metode langsung kurang tepat digunakan pada tingkat sekolah dasar karena membuat hasil gambar anak tidak sesuai skema perkembangan bahasa rupa gambar anak.
