<p><em>Pesantren as an informal institution of education has been growing from recent years. Nowadays, the development of pesantren has been progressed. In these days, most people know Pesantren because of its success in making our nations have a better generations. Pesantren has gotten many respect from the society and another formal institutions because of their organized and neatly plans in their programs. Regardless of whether it is possible or not that their format and concept of education have been found, this phenomenon clearly indicates that the symptoms to establish Pesantren educational institutions are interesting to study.Generally, this study is having a goal to describe integrated boarding innovation management in Pesantren Terpadu and Pesantren at al-Karimiyah Darussalam and to acknowledge the format of an ideal concept of integrated management of schools in both of Pesantren. The design of this study is using a qualitative approachment with multicases design. In this study, our data have been collected through interviews, participant observation and documentation. The results of this study indicated the existence of an integrated management of Pesantren in Al-Karimiyah boarding schools and Daarussalam boarding schools. Both schools are also incorporate the concept of curriculum of the National Education Ministry and Religion Ministry, while maintaining the tradition of reviewing the books of yellow as a characteristic of the Pesantren. Pesantren Al-Karimiyah managed their education and their technique of teaching by assimilating the three systems of education management, such as management of education based on the Ministry of Religion curriculum, education management based on Pesantren Salaf, and management of education that refers to the modern Pesantren Gontor. Based on that three types of management education assimilation, They are synthesized into a pattern of innovation management education and technique of teaching which are interesting to study. With their way, </em><em>Pesantren Al-Karimiyah and Daarussalam</em><em> are able to make their education and technique of teaching more vibrant and competitive with the times.</em></p>
As an important and potential instrument for national development, Zakah will continue to require development innovations. One of the innovation is through cooperation between BAZNAS and Laku Pandai which aims to achieve Zakah inclusion so that the collection and distribution of Zakah in Indonesia can increase. This study aims to analyze the strategic priorities for BAZNAS in running cooperation with Laku Pandai. This study used SWOT-ANP method with respondents as many as five expert respondents. The strategies derived from this research are the result of the formulation of a combination of SWOT factors. The main findings of this study indicate that the main priority of the overall strategy is strengthening the synergy of BAZNAS with the Laku Pandai of sharia banking.Abstrak. Sebagai instrumen penting dan sangat potensial bagi pembangunan nasional, Zakat akan terus membutuhkan inovasi-inovasi pengembangan. Salah satunya melalui kerja sama antara BAZNAS dengan Laku Pandai yang bertujuan untuk mencapai inklusi Zakat, sehingga penghimpunan dan pendistribusian Zakat di Indonesia dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis prioritas strategi bagi BAZNAS dalam menjalankan kerja sama dengan Laku Pandai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode SWOT-ANP dengan responden sebanyak lima responden pakar. Strategi-strategi yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini merupakan hasil perumusan dari kombinasi faktor-faktor SWOT. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prioritas utama dari keseluruhan strategi adalah penguatan sinergi BAZNAS dengan Laku Pandai perbankan syariah.Kata kunci: badan amil zakat nasional, penghimpunan zakat, pendistribusian zakat, inklusi Zakat
The relationship between market structure and bank performance has been studied extensively in various countries, some of those using a structure-conduct-performance (SCP) approach. Previous studies showed that market structure was found to be one of the main factors of bank performance. Most of the study primarily focused on conventional banking industry, while the study of relationship between market structure and performance of the Islamic Banks in Indonesia is very limited.The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between market structure and performance of the Islamic Banks in Indonesia, for a period of 12 years from year 1999 to 2011, using regression panel data analysis. The result of this study indicate the significant relationship between market concentration (HHI) with Return of Equity (ROE) of Islamic Banks in Indonesia. Number of Sharia Business Unit has a positive effect on Return on Assets (ROA) and ROE of Islamic Banks in Indonesia. Meanwhile the firm ownership did not show any significant relationship to ROE and ROA of Islamic Banks in Indonesia.
Objective -As the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has a promising potential of halal food industry in terms of economic and market values. This research aims at analyzing factors affecting consumers' decision in purchasing MUI halal-certified food products. Method -This study employs survey method and descriptive analysis approach. Three hundred respondents are selected using non-probability convenience sampling technique and are analyzed using multiple regression. The criteria of the respondents are Muslim and have bought Indonesian halalcertified food products in the last one-month. While the dependent variable in this study is purchasing decision (Y), the four independent variables are cultural and religious factors (X 1 ), social factor (X 2 ), personal factor (X 3 ) and psychological factor (X 4 ). Result -This study finds that the four independent factors significantly influence consumers' decision in purchasing MUI halal-certified food products. However, social factor are negatively related with the consumers' purchasing decision. Conclusion -This study is expected to deliver the information on the halal food purchasing decisions from the perspective of the customers in order to provide recommendations to develop halal food industry in Indonesia.Keywords: Halal Food Products, Purchasing Decision, and Consumers' Behavior Abstrak Tujuan -Sebagai negara dengan populasi Muslim terbesar di dunia, Indonesia memiliki potensi industri makanan halal yang menjanjikan baik dari sisi ekonomi maupun nilai pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap produk makanan bersertifikat halal MUI. Metode -Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Sebanyak tiga ratus responden dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan non-probabilitas convenience. Kriteria responden yang dipilih adalah Muslim dan minimal pernah setidaknya sekali membeli produk makanan bersertifikat halal MUI dalam sebulan terakhir. Peubah dependent adalah keputusan pembelian konsumen (Y), sedangkan peubah independent adalah faktor agama dan budaya (X 1 ), faktor social (X 2 ), faktor personal (X 3 ) dan faktor psikologis (X 4 ). Hasil -Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa keempat faktor peubah tersebut secara statistik signifikan di dalam memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen terhadap faktor makanan bersertifikat halal MUI. Meskipun demikian faktor sosial memiliki hubungan negatif dengan keputusan pembelian tersebut. Kesimpulan -Penelitian ini diharapkan akan memberikan informasi mengenai keputusan pembelian produk makanan halal dari sisi kosumen sehingga dapat memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengembangkan industri makanan halal di Indonesia.

The author formulates this research on the concept of modern education Mahmud Yunus and its relevance to modern education now and how its contribution to modern educational institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to get a picture of modern educational thinking Mahmud Yunus and its relevance to the birth of modern educational institutions in Indonesia. This research is library research, where the data obtained through primary data sources and secondary data, either through the source books of Mahmud Yunus figures directly or from reading materials and internet searching and interviews that the author describes by arranging them according to the theme and issues, especially issues related to the modernization of Islamic education in Indonesia. The concept of modern education Mahmud Yunus is a radical renewal of the education system by taking into account the needs and demands of society, without destroying the existing order. So the offer of modernization of education Mahmud Yunus, in the application of its implementation does not get opposition from anyone, both internal and ekster-nal. While his contribution to the birth of modern educational institutions in Indonesia; In the first place, institutional modernization, Mahmud Yunus is among those who pioneered the need to change the teaching system from the individual ones as applied in the pesantren using the sorogan or weton method. Secondly, the modernization in curriculum where Mahmud Yunus was the first to pioneer the existence of an integrated curriculum, a curriculum combining religious knowledge and general science in Islamic educational institutions, especially in developing Arabic teaching. Third, modernization in the field of learning, Mahmud Yunus is recognized by educational experts as a way hacker for the birth of new methods of Islamic education in Indonesia and he made a new teaching method that he introduced with the name al-thariqah al-mubasyarah (direct methode) that teaches various components science of Arabic. From the thought of Mahmud Yunus is found a new concept, namely; "ICT-based Modern Madrasahs" from the elaboration of the modernization concept both from the institutional side, the curriculum, the method of learning and producing a reliable educator in the hope of becoming a new paradigm for the world of Islamic education in the world and Indonesia in particular.</p><p class="keywords">Keywords: modern education, islamic education institution, integrated curriculum</p>
