This research background is the low skilled interpersonal communication from student. Social self-concept, student perception regarding parents social support, and peer social support are factors suspected influence student interpersonal communication. This research is aimed to describe and examined: (1) relationship between social self-concept, student perception regarding parents social support, and peer social support with interpersonal communication; (2) together relationship between social self-concept, student perception regarding parents social support, and peer social support with interpersonal communication. This research used quantitative approach by using descriptive correlational method. The population of this research were 670 students of MTsN Parak Lawas Padang. The sample were 251 students that were chosen by using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument that had is the scale by using the Likert scale model. The data research was analize by descriptive statistics, simple, and multiple regression. This discover research show: (1) there was a relationship between social self-concept, student perception regarding parents social support, and peer social support with interpersonal communication; (2) there was together a relationship between social self-concept, student perception regarding parents social support, and peer social support with interpersonal communication.
This study aims to analyze in depth the effectiveness of Islamic counseling carried out by counselors in reducing impulsive behavior in autistic children. Research Methods were used qualitatively with a case study approach. The informant selection technique uses purposive sampling techniques, so that two core informants are obtained, namely DS and DT and four accompanying informants.Dat collection techniques use interviews, observations, documentation studies, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques go through six stages, namely collection, refinement, processing, analysis, analysis process, and data conclusion. Research findings show that Islamic counseling is effective as a therapy in reducing impulsive behavior in autistic children, as can be seen from the picture of significant changes in the behavior of autistic children. BS and DT become more compliant and able to be cooperative in the learning process, although they still need special assistance when BS and DT explore their potential during learning hours. BS informants still show the behavior of hitting goods or tables, but the intensity is only occasional. The behavior of hitting the head, wrinkling fingers, and playing with saliva does not appear at all. For DT informants the behavior of hitting surrounding goods still appears, but the intensity is only occasional. The emotions displayed are not as explosive as they used to be, only at the time of the class boss. Meracau only occasionally appears. The behavior of attacking and walking around in the classroom shouting did not appear. Recommendations for counselors in inclusive schools can use Islamic counseling therapy in reducing impulsive behavior in autistic children.Kata Kunci: islamic counseling; Therapy; autism; Impulsive behavior; Children. Abstract This research was carried out at the Al-Aufa Integrated Islamic Primary School Inclusion Program in Bengkulu City. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of children with autism and how the active role of parents and teachers in improving communication skills and social interactions of children with autism. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. In this study the authors collected data by going directly to the field and conducting interviews, direct observation, and conducting documentation studies to the research location. The subjects in this study amounted to one child with autism. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques and using triangulation techniques to check the validity of the data. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the active role of parents and inclusive school teachers in improving communication skills and social interaction of children. The most important thing given to children is parents' acceptance of children and social support provided by parents and teachers in the environment around children. The conclusion of this study is that children with autism require very complex handling and require the participation and active role of parents and teachers in many matters related to the development of communication and social interaction of children.
