The involvement of citizens in participation as an embodiment of a sense of awareness and the desire to contribute will form an activity that can influence and lead to change. The maritime children's school community is a forum for citizens to participate in an activity in order to increase the motivation to learn coastal children. The purpose of the study was to know the role of civic engagement in increasing the motivation to learn coastal children. This research was conducted at the School of Marine Children located in the village of Tanjung Kait, District Mauk, Tangerang Regency using a qualitative approach. Data collection is how to interview, study documentation, and observation by analyzing data using Miles and Haberrman models. The results of the study state that the role of participant or citizen involvement in the learning process through extrinsic motivation in the form of material and moral rewards. A good and conducive learning environment by providing appropriate facilities and infrastructure, and interesting learning activities by learning while playing to create an innovative learning atmosphere. With this enhancement of children's learning motivation can be done on the involvement of citizens as instructors at the nautical children's school.
Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kesenian debus diposisikan oleh masyarakat setempat sebagai bentuk kebudayaan dan perannya dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai budaya kewarganegaraan (Civic Culture). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Nilai-nilai budaya apa saja yang terkandung dalam kesenian debus dalam penguatan budaya kewarganegaraan (Civic Culture). Kemudian bagaimana upaya untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya debus dalam penguatan budaya kewarganegaraan (Civic Culture). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi Etnografi untuk mengetahu tentang tatanan nilai masyarakat dalam budaya kesenian debus Banten. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai budaya yang terkait dengan penguatan budaya kewarganegaraan (civic culture) dalam seni debus yaitu nilai religi, nilai sosial, nilai ekonomi, dan nilai seni. Serta upaya pelestarian kesenian debus dapat dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu: Culture Experience, dan Culture Knowledge.
This study aims to find out the relationship between Intellectual Intelligence and Student Learning Citizenship Education Lessons. The research method of this research is a quantitative correlation approach. Samples were taken by Proposal Random Sampling technique, which was 72 samples. The instruments used in this study were Intelligence Tests and used Achievement Tests and observations as supporting data. While the data analysis used Simple Linear Regression with intellectual intelligence (x) as a predictor and learning achievement of Citizenship Education (Y). by komasiasi obtained the following correlation coefficient of 0.716 means (0,513 x 100%) = 51.3%. Learning Achievement Citizenship Education is influenced by intellectual intelligence while the remaining 48.7% is determined by other variables which are not examined in this study. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Intellectual Intelligence has a Significant Relationship with Student Achievement in Citizenship Education.
