As one of the leading tourist destinations in East Kalimantan, the promotion aspect is still an emerging review for Pela Village tourism managers. The purpose of this program is to provide design skills using the Canva application that can be used for content purposes in the form of banners and posters. Canva is a graphic design application that bridges its users so that they can easily design types of creative content and publications online. The program method used is lectures, practical examples, presentations and demonstrations. The result of this program is an increase in understanding and ability to process visual assets and textual information into an aesthetic work in the form of promotional posters and banners for Pela Tourism Village. This can be a provision for Pela Village Pokdarwis in making other tourism promotion content that is creative and easy to apply.
Workshop activity has to follow the regulation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in order to minimalize accident at the workplace. Every worker must put on Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to prevent him/herself from hazards in the workshop. Some PPE are helmet, protective clothing, safety shoes, gloves, etc. However, Muslim women, who work on the workshop, have a problem because there is no certain safety hijab for the PPE standardized. This research aims to analyze the criteria of safety hijab design used for the part of PPE. The data were collected using Kansei Method, i.e. designing preliminary research, compiling Kansei words, drafting Semantic Differential (SD) questionnaire, distributing the SD I questionnaire, conducting statistics analysis I, collecting product sample, developing design based on customers' preferences. From the collecting data result, it could be concluded that the Kansei words for safety hijab were the ergonomic factors and syar'i factors.
Abstract MSME products in Teluk pandan Village, East Kutai Regency, which have developed very rapidly are not supported by good packaging. Whereas in addition to containers or packaging of food products, packaging also has an important role ini efforts to maintain food quality, safety, and increase product attractiveness. This study aims to design a Crispy Anchovy package in Teluk Pandan Village. The design method applied refers to the Vinod Goel design method which uses 3 stages, namely preliminary design, development design, and final design. The design emphasizes the concept of re-usability, where packages that have run out of contents, the package can be reused with different functions. The design of Crispy Anchovy packaging is expected to be able to attract consumers through the new packaging, by making packaging as a promotional medium, so as to increase the selling value of Crispy Anchovy products. Metode perancangan yang diterapkan mengacu pada metode perancangan Vinod Goel yang menggunakan 3 tahapan yakni preliminary design, desain development, dan final design. Rancangan yang dibuat menekankan pada konsep re-usability, dimana kemasan yang sudah habis isinya dapat dimanfaatkan kembali dengan fungsi yang berbeda. Perancangan kemasan Ikan Teri Crispy diharapkan mampu menarik konsumen melalui kemasan yang baru, dengan mejadikan kemasan sebagai media promosi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai jual produk Ikan Teri Crispy. Purpose: The aim of this Community Service was to train the participants, whom the teachers of TK/TPA Al Mu’minun, to use the Tree – Lingual teaching media or the Language Tree as well as to facilitate them exploring their skills in developing teaching aids. Research methodology: The method used was training the participants, both teachers and students of the TK/TPA Al Mu’minun using tree – lingual teaching media which the students were able to learn three languages ??at once, namely Indonesian, English, and Arabic by using the trilingual cards which were put inside the character pouches where were attached in the branches and trunks of the Language Tree. Results: From the training activities showed that the students enthusiastically engaged to the training session, especially when they were asked to come in front of the class to choose the pouches on the tree – lingual. The teachers were also excited to practice on how to use the learning media as well as disclosed that they had several ideas on developing the learning media. Conclusions: Through this training, the teachers were also provided with the knowledge about how to create and develop learning media that are not only applicable and innovative, but also brings fun for students. They were also expected to be able to increase productivity in creating educational products to improve the trilingual learning process in their area. Limitations: This Community Service was limited to the use of tree - lingual teaching media for primary level. Regional crafts from East Kalimantan Province is a special embroidery, that’s call sulam tumpar. Sulam tumpar is a decoration made on cloth or other materials with sewing needles and thread. Craft originating from the Dayak tribe in the East Kalimantan Province has a variety of patterns with bright colors. The problem in this research is how to develop a new motif of sulam tumpar by not leaving the local wisdom characteristic in its design in order to raise the name of this East Kalimantan craft in national and international. The purpose of developing this sulam tumpar motif is to design and develop a new motif that can be applied to all handicraft products, including fashion products for men and women. The results of this research activity are contributing new ideas in the development of the sulam tumpar motif in accordance with customer desires using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, which is a blend of modern and traditional concepts followed by unisex motif designs and universal designs.
