This study aims to describe the phenomena related to the 2014-2019 South China Sea conflict resolution efforts. The Indonesian government implements a military diplomacy strategy to minimize conflict in the region. Researchers obtained accurate and valid data sources using literature studies from books, websites and online journals as the primary sources of reference. With these sources, researchers can strengthen the theory and argument in this study. Researchers use defence diplomacy theory with the concept of strategy and national interests. Discussion on Indonesia's military diplomacy strategy related to efforts to resolve the 2014-2019 South China Sea conflict. Some of the main problems are how Indonesia's military diplomacy strategy includes two forms: First, building state military defence in the Natuna waters. Second, the application of Naval Diplomacy as a form of Indonesian military diplomacy strategy. The researcher concludes that Indonesia's two forms of diplomacy effectively minimize conflict in the South China Sea region. The military diplomacy strategy effort in securing Natuna waters is to build state military defence aimed at fulfilling proportional strength that focuses on increasing the strength of defence equipment and supporting infrastructure. The form of Indonesia's military diplomacy strategy is the Naval Diplomacy in the form of coalition building which carried out through efforts to manufacture, develop and trade defence equipment with various countries, especially countries in the ASEAN region and abroad.
