The aim of the paper is to point out the possibility of the influence of the quality of the gastronomic offer in the restaurant of the hotel Crni vrh, on the creation or cocreation of the hotel brand. The quality items of the hotel's complete catering offer were analyzed and grouped by exploratory factor analysis into three factors (Food, Space and Personality). The results of the multiple regression analysis determined the contribution of two quality factors to the creation of the hotel brand. Also, the research came to the conclusion that the majority of visitors, after the experience gained, decide to come again to the rural and mountainous areas, and a smaller percentage to the urban environment. The importance of the research is reflected in the contribution of the existing literature, in the contribution to future more important research, as well as in finding strategic solutions for better hotel operations.
Food safety is of paramount importance at all times, especially in exceptional circumstances, such as pandemic COVID-19, given the fact that coronavirus is spreading rapidly and little is known about coronavirus. Protections have been strengthened in all fields, including food safety. In order to best protect ourselves and others, it's necessary to handle food properly, especially if children, pregnant women, the elderly and the ill ones are in the immediate vicinity. The paper will examine food safety and eating habits during pandemic COVID-19, with focus on recommended guidelines for safe food preparation, food storage, together with the prescribed measures of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Why make large structures from rubber bands with students of architecture? How does such an endeavour relate to architectural education? And if rubber band structures are neither buildings, nor models of buildings, but experiments of some sort, what kind of knowledge do they generate relevant to construction industry and the built environment? These are some of the issues which have surfaced at the conference "ISSUES? Concerning the projects of Peter Eisenman" held in Belgrade in November 2013. They are related to a string of design research projects recently completed at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Architecture and documented in the thematic volume of Serbian Architectural Journal titled "Architectural Education in the Post Digital Age" which was published independently but almost concurrently with the conference. In continuity with arguments given in that publication, this paper will provide a brief overview of some relevant and generally accepted theories and manifestos related to design research methodologies, providing grounds for the current work at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade.
Rural tourism in Serbia and its development has positive effects on all aspects of rural development, both economic and social. The aim of this paperwork is to investigate the importance that touristic cooperatives in rural areas of Serbia, although relatively new in this area, have and can have on the overall development of rural areas. For the purpose of the research, an interview was conducted with the directors of the existing tourist cooperatives in Serbia. Based on the obtained data, it was determined that this form of cooperative association is necessary, not only because of the development of tourism in the countryside, but above all because of the survival of the Serbian village. The obtained data on the problems and limiting factors that cooperative members face in business can be a further basis for future research on the topic of rural development through the establishment and strengthening of tourist cooperatives.
