Analysis of Wetland Rice Agribusiness System in Ecotourism Area (A Case Study of Subak Sembung, Peguyangan Village, District of North Denpasar) The existence of subak land conversion in Denpasar City causes Denpasar Mayor to issue a policy to protect rice fields through development of Green Open Zone, especially rice fields for ecotourism purposes. Subak Sembung is a subak that becomes ecotourism area in the middle of the town. It is necessary to do research to analyze the system of wetland rice agribusiness in an ecotourism area. The purpose of this study was to determine the system of wetland rice agribusiness, profits and feasibility of rice field farming, as well as obstacles in the development of rice farming in Subak Sembung. The method used was qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis in the form of cost analysis, income, as well as analysis of revenue and cost balance. The results showed that upstream agro-industry subsystem, farming system, downstream agroindutrial subsystem, and supporting institution subsystem had a good relation. There is a special support institution (Subak Sembung ecotourism manager) that provides additional ecological and economic value through the sharing of the results of ecotourism management. The farmers did not receive a direct share of the management of ecotourism, but the farms earned a profit of Rp. 6,996,784.20 / ha, as well as the revenue and expense of 2.88. Obstacles faced by farmers were in the form of labor shortage of rice field tractor and pest insulation aphis. The conclusion of the research is the system of wetland rice agribusiness in Subak Sembung has been running quite well, rice farming is able to gain profits and said feasible to run in the future, and farmers experience barriers in the management of the farm.
The objectives of this study are (1) to analyze the influence of the procurement and distribution subsystems of production facilities for strengthening the Chili-Tobacco Inter-cropping Farmer Group in Bali Province; (2) analyzing the influence of farming subsystems for strengthening the Chili-Tobacco Inter-cropping Farmer Group in Bali Province; (3) analyzing the effect of post-harvest handling and further processing subsystems for strengthening the Chili-Tobacco Inter-cropping Farmer Group in Bali Province; (4) analyze the effect of the yield marketing subsystem to strengthen the Chili-Tobacco Inter-cropping Farmer Group in Bali Province; (5) analyzing the effect of supporting services subsystems for strengthening the Chili-Tobacco Inter-cropping Farmer Group in Bali Province; and (6) designing an agribusiness system development model that is suitable for strengthening the Chili-Tobacco Inter-cropping Farmer Group in the Province of Bali. The methodology uses Smart PLS analysis and the SAST (Strategic Assumption Surfacing and Testing) method in determining the implementation of activity level needs for farmer groups.
This study aims to formulate a regional food security model based on the relationship between characteristics of the area of production, consumption and entrepreneurship with the performance of community food business development (PUPM) in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The research sample consisted of 93 rice farmers, 96 rice consumers and 30 business people representing the Association of Farmers' Groups (Gapoktan) and the Indonesian Farmers Shop (TTI) owners, accounting for the total respondents to 219 people. Data analysis was using Smart-PLS. The results of the analysis show that the performance of the PUPM in NTT which is influenced by the characteristics of the production, consumption and entrepreneurship areas has only been achieved at a sufficient level. The analysis also shows that the new PUPM activities in NTT are able to fulfill aspects of access and stability, while the availability aspect is still very small. Nevertheless, this study has proven that the regional food security model in NTT can be realized through community food business development activities.
Vegetable traders with operational time in the afternoon until evening, of course, have certain behaviors in Entrepreneurship and make the decision to migrate from the area of ??origin that is interesting to study. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics, entrepreneurial behavior and trends of migrating Vegetable traders in Ubung Kaja Village. This research was conducted in the village of Ubung Kaja. The research location was chosen intentionally (purposive sampling) considering that Ubung Kaja Village is an area where most of the area is a residential / residential location in North Denpasar District and North Denpasar District is a densely populated area in Denpasar City. The research design carried out was a survey method. Data collection is used by direct observation and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis, logistic regression and SEM-PLS. Vegetable traders migrate from the area of ??origin to the village of Ubung Kaja (overseas areas) influenced by age of income, marital status, asset ownership and employment in the area of ??origin. The analysis results obtained entrepreneurial entrepreneurial behavior included in both categories.
A reduction in the number of farmers, urbanization, limited land, poverty, environmental changes, uncertainty of production results and limited access to resources are still being serious problems and have a direct effect on farmers' income. Facing that conditions, in order to survive, social networks are one of the adaptation strategies implemented by the farmers. This research aimed to examine the social phenomena of urban farmers in Subak Sembung, Denpasar City and to try to find the rational actions conducted by the farmers in dealing with economic problems that occurred. This research was conducted in March - October 2020. The location of Subak Sembung was chosen because Subak Sembung is a subak that still exists in Denpasar City. The total samples were 20% of the total population, which is 40 people. This research used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative method in this research was using a case study, while the quantitative method used a survey. The research results showed that social, economic and environmental changes that occurred caused urban farmers to adapt. The adaptation pattern that was implemented was to apply a survival strategy and a double income pattern. The economic condition of urban farmers in Denpasar City was very good. The social network that was formed is a social network to fellow farmers, farmers to management subak, and farm shops. Action rationalism was performed in the context of improving the economy, working relations, and preserving culture.
