<p>Penerapan Pendidikan karakter merupakan sebuah jalan untuk membangun pendidikan yang lebih bermoral. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis keteladanan guru dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter disekolah. Artikel ini merupakan hasil analisis dengan mengkaji literatur yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan topik pembahasan. Model yang digunakan adalah studi literatur atau <em>lirature riview</em>. Dari hasil penelaahan, hasil yang didapat menunjukkah bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter disekolah merupakan tanggung jawab semua warga sekolah, tetapi guru memegang peranan penting dalam pencapaian program tersebut sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan karakter disekolah bergantung dari sejauh mana guru tersebut bisa menjadi teladan siswa-siswinya sehingga untuk mewujudkan siswa yang berkarakter diperlukan guru yang berkarakter pula.</p>
<p>Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji pentingnya <em>critical thinking</em> dan <em>problem solving </em>dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk menjawab tantangan abad 21. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. 4 keterampilan abad 21 yaitu: <em>communication</em>, <em>collaboration</em>, <em>critical thinking and problem solving</em>, serta <em>creativity and innovation</em>. Tujuan pembelajaran IPS adalah mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar terampil mengatasi masalah sosial. Pembelajaran IPS pada abad 21 harus integrative, holistic, saintifik, konstektual, tematik, efektif, kolaboratif, dan berpusat pada siswa. Pentingnya <em>critical thinking dan Problem Solving </em>dalam pembelajaran IPS adalah agar peserta didik dapat merangsang, menganalisis, dan melakukan sintesis tepat dimana masalah itu berada, atas inisiatif sendiri.</p>
Interactive student worksheets are a very important part of learning media to support the learning process to achieve the expected goals. The use of the liveworksheets site is one way to develop interactive worksheets so that online learning can run well. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge to teachers to take advantage of the free liveworksheets site to develop interactive worksheets so that the obstacles to teaching and learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic can be overcome. The method of implementing this service begins with observations to partner schools before the implementation of training activities to discuss the time and need for facilities and infrastructure. Then during the training, the activity begins with the provision of material related to interactive student worksheets and how to create interactive student worksheets using the live worksheet site. Furthermore, assistance is provided during practice for teachers or training participants. The results of this service can be said to be successful, as seen from the enthusiasm of the teacher listening to the material and the practice of making interactive worksheets questions. The types of questions that were successfully practiced by the participants were the types of multiple-choice questions, short entries, descriptions, join arrows, dropdowns, drag and drop, checkboxes, word search, and listening and speaking questions. Therefore, with the increasing ability of teachers to create interactive worksheets, it is hoped that teachers can develop more perfect interactive worksheets that are made according to the needs of students. In addition, the knowledge that has been obtained from this training is expected for teachers to share their knowledge and knowledge with other teachers.
This study aims to describe the 21st century skills values contained in the fifth grade student’s book sub theme 1 (Human and Environment). The method used is content analysis with data reduction stages, data exposure, and drawing conclusions. Data source in this study is buku lingkungan sahabat kita, the 2013 thematic integrated curriculum book for SD/MI grade V. The results of this study indicate that 21st century skills have been developed in learning activities, let’s discuss, let’s write, let’s observe, let’s try, let’s practice, let’s sing, let’s sing, let’s contemplate, and activities with parents.
This study aims to analyze the use of smartphones towards students' interaction at senior high school. This descriptive qualitative research was carried out at one of the senior high schools in Pangalengan, Bandung with observation and interview techniques. It shows that smartphones can change the interaction pattern in associative and dissociative processes. In the associative proses, students create social media groups to communicate, interact, and socialize in order to make it easier for students to distribute information. Meanwhile, the dissociative process occur friction due to misunderstanding in interpreting information when communicating. Another finding in this research shows that the use of smartphones can facilitate teachers and students in the learning process and evaluation. However, the impact on the use of smartphone is that the students lack focus in the teaching and learning process. Smartphones are used as a means of cheating, bullying and shifting values and norms.
