Hybrid organic–inorganic composites comprising cyanoethyl ester of poly(vinyl alcohol) (CEPVA) and submicron-sized barium titanate with a core–shell structure are studied. For the first time, the permittivity of obtained composites was studied in correlation with the acid–base properties of the filler and controlled via the filler surface modification by the formation of core–shell structures using sol–gel and plasma processes. The permittivity is found to grow with the increase in the content of Brønsted basic centers on the filler surface due to enhanced interactions with acid groups of polymer. This effect is especially prominent in the case of silica nanocoating deposited onto BaTiO3 surface. The permittivity of the studied composites is approximated by a modified Lichtenecker equation based on permittivity values of individual components, their concentrations, and a specific parameter characterizing their acid–base interaction.
Electrical properties of polymer-inorganic nanocomposites depend strongly on their structure, i.e. distribution of filler phase in a polymer matrix. This factor is especially important in the case of composites consisting of two phases with significantly different properties. To improve electric properties of such composites in this study ferroelectric core/magnetic shell approach is suggested. BaTiO3 core was coated with a SiO2-CoFe2O4 magnetic shell followed by incorporation of thus obtained core/shell particles into a polymer in the presence of external magnetic field to obtain composites featuring with a significantly increased dielectric permittivity. The developed composites may find various applications including embedded capacitors and other electronics devices, as well as sensors, electromagnetic radiation shields etc.
At all times translator has played an important role in multinational, cross-cultural and interreligious communication. Due to fast development of Russian-Chinese relations professional Chinese interpreters are in great demand nowadays. For several centuries the Russian Orthodox Ecclesiastical Mission in Beijing remained the main diplomatic mission in China and at the same time the main training center for translators, but as departments of Chinese language and culture gradually appeared in universities more systematic approach in translation methodology has been provided for a greater number of students. The article analyzes the changes of social, historical, institutional and pedagogical conditions for training in Chinese translation and interpreting, starting from 17 century to the present day.
