In latent diabetes there are easy transitions between normal and pathological values for blood-sugar. In view of the fact that their correct allocation is uncertain, an attempt has been made to calculate the relevant probabilities. Examination of 101 healthy men showed that the corresponding values are practically normally distributed. It is suggested that such normal distribution curves be taken as a basis for the assessment of GTT values.
