Aim: The aim of thе work is to study structural-semantic features of hybrid loans in German, the interpretative features of «Denglisch» when translated from German into Russian. Methods of research: analysis of dictionary definitions, contextual method, descriptive method, comparative method, translation analysis, method of quantitative estimation. The results of the study: hybrid loans in the German language are formed in three main ways: compounding, derivation, and adding semi-suffixes. Analysis of the corresponding articles «Der Spiegel», «Die Zeit», «ChannelPartner» showed that when translating «Denglisch» into Russian, loan translation, addition, omission, part of speech substitution and transplantation are most often used. The frequency of use is dominated by loan translation and transplantation. Omission is used less often. This pattern is caused by the absence of deviations from regular correspondences in terms of lexical composition and semantic structure of the original units. The practical significance of thе work lies in the possibility to use main principals and conclusions of the article in the courses on the specific theory of translation and lexicology, as well as in the preparation of manuals on the theory of language.
