This article aims to describe the philosophy proposed by Ki Hadjar Dewantara ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani interpreted using Schleiermacher's hermeneutics. By doing grammatical and psychological interpretation, the authors explored issues on understanding how the philosophy affected Ki Hadjar Dewantara's life. It was done by apprehending the background condition, which inspired his vision, thinking framework, and other related thinking concept. Ki Hadjar Dewantara's vision is an educational concept, which implements local wisdom in the middle of the harsh life of colonialism. The philosophy of Ki Hadjar Dewantara comes from the meaningful local wisdom that both teacher and leader should be in the front performing model or example, in the middle to build intention, and behind to motivate learners/public.

<p><em>This research was a research and development study. The purpose of this research are (1) Describe what factors are the strengths, weaknesses , opportunities and threats in improving the quality in SMPN1 Bawen ;(2) Develop a strategy that needs to be done to improve the quality SMPN1 Bawen based on SWOT analysis. Data was collected through interviews, observation, study of document and focus group discussion (FGD). The results of the SWOT analysis is to improve the quality of schools stated position SMPN1 Bawen be in SO quadrant, which supports an aggressive strategy to support the growth of the school created a strategic plan that leverages the power to capture the opportunities that exist . Draft strategic aspects: inputs, processes, and outputs include: developing the ideal school environment, through programs 7 K ( Health, Order, Beauty, Shade, Security, Comfort, and Kinship ; Optimization of teacher professional development programs, and improve academic achievement and non- academic as optimal as possible.</em></p>

Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) merupakan proses pengajaran dan pem­belajaran yang berdasarkan Alkitab dan berpusat pada Kristus. PAK berperan untuk mengarahkan pribadi seseorang menuju pada pengenalan dan kedewasaan dalam Kristus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebagai tindak lanjutan penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti terdahulu yaitu Susanto. Penelitian Susanto menemukan bahwa PAK dalam je­maat GKII Tandang telah dilakukan, hanya peneliti terdahulu belum memaparkan bagaimana pela­k­sanaannya. Untuk itu dipandang penting memaparkan PAK yang dilaksanakan dalam jemaat di GKII Tandang. Untuk tujuan tersebut, peneliti mengumpul­kan data melalui wawancara kepada gembala jemaat, badan pengurus jemaat dan anggota jemaat, kemudian melakukan observasi terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan persekutuan serta me­ngumpulkan data melalui dokumentasi gereja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka ditemukan bahwa PAK dilaksanakan dalam jemaat di GKII Tandang melalui khotbah ibadah umum, katekisasi, persekutuan komsel, persekutuan kategorial, persekutuan ibadah padang, dan persekutuan doa dan puasa. Jadi, penelitian me­nyimpulkan bahwa PAK dilaksanakan dalam jemaat melalui persekutuan-persekutuan dan pengajaran.

Improving education quality needs sustainable efforts; one of them is by doing Total Quality Management (TQM). TQM can be implemented not only in an educational institution's organization but also in the teaching learning process. This study aims to investigate the implementation of TQM in SMP 1 Bawen, especially in the teaching learning process of Christian. Employing descriptive qualitative approach, the data needed for this research were gathered using interview, observation, and documentation. The result shows that the learning process of Christian lesson has applied five principles of TQM: focuses on the users (students) by handling the students' problems and uses learning methods that suit the students' need, does sustainable improvement to the students' learning achievement, build shared commitments, evaluates the students' achievement, and involves the school stakeholders. However, it still needs improvements on some points of TQM principles.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profesionalitas Yesus sebagai Guru Agung dalam pengajaran-Nya layak dijadikan acuan bagi setiap guru, khususnya guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam berkarya untuk memikirkan metode apa saja yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Pendekatan dalam penulisan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan kajian literatur berupa buku dan artikel jurnal yang relevan. Adapun profesionalitas Yesus dalam pengajaran-Nya yang layak dijadikan acuan adalah sebagai berikut; (1) menggunakan media yang dekat dengan lingkungan pembelajar, (2) Yesus menggunakan media untuk menjawab kebutuhan, dan (3) memanfaatkan bahan yang sederhana.  This paper aims to describe the professionalism of Jesus as the Great Teacher in His teaching deserves to be a reference for every teacher, especially teachers of Christian Religious Education in working to think of what methods will be used in learning. The approach in this paper is qualitative research with a literature review in the form of relevant books and journal articles. The professionalism of Jesus in His teachings that deserves to be referred to is as follows; (1) using media that is close to the learning environment, (2) Jesus uses media to answer needs, and (3) utilizes simple materials.
