Abstract-This paper presents some contributions towards Interactive Digital Television (iDTv), focusing on the central issue of the use of back channel (or Interactivity Channel) for the Brazilian Digital Television System Terrestrial (SBTVD-T or ISDB-TB), highlighting the necessary infrastructure, applications and services that can help with the challenges of promoting digital inclusion in Brazil. As a product of these scientific investigations is undergoing testing a prototype of a Service Guide to support the promotion of citizenship through digital inclusion, which can be exploited, for example, under the new TV Brazil and public television network.
