<em>The purpose of this study was to describe the factors of politeness marker at expression of demand in the Minangkabau language in Bungo pasang area, Pesisir Selatan Regency of West Sumatra. Today the use of kato nan ampek in the expression of demand has begun to fade along with the times and technology. Linguistically, the expression of demand is reflected through (1) the length of speech, and (2) the use of non-imperative sentences. The object of this study was the Bungo Pasang community in the South Coastal District of 40-60 years who have a maximum junior high school education, with respondents who have the perfect utterance. The research method was descriptive qualitative that produces descriptive data in the form of written or verbal words from the respondents who were observed and interviewed. The results of this study are factors that determine politeness in demand; (a) implementation of performance, (2) variation of speech, and (3) completeness of speech. This study aims to describe and explain the role of character education in helping the development of a second language in gifted children based on sociolinguistic studies. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The data in this study were obtained from the analysis of conversations or dialogues and the development of the Dini Suryani language of third-grade students at SDN 27/III Lolo Kecil with their peers, interacting in class with the teacher and while in the family environment. Researchers found that early language development is different from normal children, who tend to have a neat and well-structured use of language. Dini also uses varied and appropriate vocabulary according to specific contexts. Dini also applies the use of intonation and facial expressions in interacting in communicating. However, Dini has a personality problem that is high egoistic, such as when she wants something, she will do anything, even if she forces her will. To maximize the ability of early character education is the right supporting step or method. Thus, Dini can become a gifted child with a good personality.
The purpose of this study was to discuss the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on writing skills of exposition text for middle school students. The method used is an experiment inquiry to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. The research procedure which is natural setting and descriptive pay more attention to data processing and analysis, tend to be inductive, and search for suitable meaning. The data collection instrument was a performance test in the form of writing skills on exposition text. The results showed that the application of the PBL model increased the scores of the students' exposition text writing results with an average score of 58%. In addition, the application of the PBL model also deepens students' understanding of the structure, language rules, diction, language style, and speeling contained in the exposition text.
This research aimed to describe the four things. The first, is the categories of words that had been acquire by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The second is the kinds of meaning that had been acquire by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The third is the semantic field that had been acquire by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The last is the development stage of semantic acquisition of children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang This research was a qualitative research. It tried to understand the children age 2,6-5,0 language acquisition at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The sources of data were the subject of research (the pupils) and the respondents (the teachers). The research instruments were the researcher it self and supported by data instrumentation. Ther method of data gathering was listening method. This method was used to listen the language acquisition by children age 2,6-5,0 at PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang. The validity technique of this research was the researchers pesverance. Data analysis was conducted by several steps based on the research purposes.The findings of research shown the pupils of PAUD Bakti Bunda Tabing Padang were, (1) the children were able to use verb, adjective, nominal, pronoun, number, adverb and action verb in base from as well as the derivative, (2) the children were able to understand and use the language containing lexical, grammatical, referential, non referential, denotative and word meaning, (3) most of children acquired the word in action semantic field, and (4) the children had tendency in semantic acquisition in semantic field stage.
