<p style="text-align: justify;">The study aimed to: 1) determine the e-learning design oriented inquiry learning based on character education in multimedia courses, 2) find out the feasibility of e-learning oriented inquiry learning based on character education in multimedia courses, 3) identify the effectiveness of e-learning oriented inquiry learning based on character education in multimedia courses. This study employed the research and development design. The research and development model used is the Borg & Gall model. The subjects involved in the feasibility test were 8th semester and 2015-2016 academic year students, while the subjects included in the effectiveness test were the 7th semester and 2016-2017 academic year students of Educational Technology Department Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The instruments used to collect data in this study were questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and character behavior observation sheets. Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (t-test) were used to analyze the data. The results indicated significant differences in learning outcomes of the 7th semester and 2016-2017 academic year students learning multimedia courses, before and after using Edutech Smart e-learning. The study concluded that that the learning media developed are effective to enhance the quality of learning in multimedia learning. Efforts should be made to develop e-learning by optimizing more varied presentation methods.</p>
Introduction. Gamalama Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia. The eruption of Gamalama Volcano has direct or indirect dangers to the community, especially school students. The potential for casualties and loss of school infrastructure will increase if students do not follow suit when they are at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with disaster preparedness that affects students. Then find out the level of disaster preparedness in high school students. Research methods. The research is a descriptive correlational study, with a total sample of 162 students taken by purposive sampling technique at 4 high schools located in the disaster-prone area of Gamalama Volcano. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis and correlation analysis. Results. The results show that there was a positive and significant relationship between knowledge and disaster preparedness in students (sig. 0.000 <0.01). Likewise, the relationship between attitude and student preparedness has a positive and significant relationship (sig. 0.000 <0.01). Meanwhile, the level of disaster preparedness among students was in the "ready" category, with the value of the preparedness index of 74.57. Conclusions. Knowledge, attitudes, and student disaster preparedness need to be improved, in order to reduce the loss of life and property during a disaster, especially schools located in disaster-prone areas. Then, real efforts from the government, local communities and non-governmental organizations are needed in the volcanic disaster risk reduction program.
Since the development of information and communication technology ‘learning media’ have been recognized as increasingly important courses by educators to assist students training to be professional teachers to understand the process of designing, developing, utilizing, managing, and evaluating learning resources. The context-aware ubiquitous learning approach design based on case methods and team-based projects has been proposed to guide activities in the student learning process. Therefore, this research aims to describe the design and determine the feasibility or validity of context-aware ubiquitous learning based on case methods and a team-based project model using the research and development (R&D) approach. The procedure consists of (1) model development and (2) product validation. It is important to note that the validation aspect involved five learning material/design experts, five ‘learning media’ experts, and 162 students from state and private universities in Indonesia after which the data obtained from experts and students were analyzed using the descriptive statistics. The results showed that the learning model designed is suitable for use in the student learning process.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui rancang bangun e-learning berorientasi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis pendidikan karakter pada mata kuliah desain pembelajaran, 2) mengetahui kelayakan e-learning berorientasi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis pendidikan karakter pada mata kuliah desain pembelajaran, 3) 5 mengetahui keefektifan e-learning berorientasi pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis pendidikan karakter pada mata kuliah desain pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg & Gall. Subjek coba pada uji kelayakan adalah mahasiswa semester 3 tahun akademik 2020-2021 sebanyak 35 orang mahasiswa sedangkan subjek coba pada uji efektifitas adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Teknologi Pembelajaran Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember semester 2 tahun akademik 2021-2022. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini berupa angket, tes hasil belajar, dan lembar pengamatan perilaku berkarakter. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) rancang bangun pengembangan e-learning meliputi langkah analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan desain pembelajaran, membangun course e-learning, evaluasi formatif, dan evaluasi sumatif, 2) hasil validasi ahli materi pada aspek pembelajaran memperoleh skor 4,36 (sangat baik) dan pada aspek isi/materi memperoleh skor 4,8 (baik), hasil validasi ahli media pada aspek tampilan memperoleh skor 4,28 (sangat baik) dan pada aspek pemrograman memperoleh skor 4,44 (baik), hasil uji coba lapangan pada aspek pembelajaran memperoleh skor 4,61 (sangat baik) dan pada aspek isi/materi memperoleh skor 4,55(sangat baik), pada aspek tampilan memperoleh skor 4,56 (sangat baik) dan pada aspek pemrograman memperoleh skor 4,67 (sangat baik), 3 hasil uji efektifitas menunjukkan sig 0.000 atau kurang dari 0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan e-learning Edutech Smart pada mahasiswa semester 2 tahun akademik 2021-2022 mata kuliah desain pembelajaran. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada mata kuliah desain pembelajaran.
