Based on the results of preliminary studies, Physics learning process at school as the place to research have using conventional learning models, on the learning process of students tend to be passive. As a result, understanding of concepts was very low. Therefore, be required a proper and appropriate learning model. Experiential Kolb learning models can be an alternative learning model to applied,because in this model, students required to actively and creatively to construct knowledge. The purpose of this research is knowing an improved understanding of the concept, after application Experiential Kolb learning model on the concept optical devices. The design of this research using Control Group Pretest-Potstest Design with experiment sample high school students grade x at Majalengka citty. The results showed that the understanding of concepts have increase significantly viewed of the value of N-gain after application Experiential Kolb learning model. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average of the value of understanding N-gain is 0,62 for the class have used Experiential Kolb learning model and 0,38 for the class have used conventional learning. It can be concluded that the Experiential Kolb learning model can further improve the understanding of concepts compared with conventional learning. Results of an analysis of student responses showed that students had a positive response to the application Experiential Kolb learning models.
In government regulation of the republic of indonesia No. 19), article 26, paragraph 4, about the purpose of higher education which is said to prepare learners to be a society that: 1) possesses noble, 2) possesses knowledge, 3) skilled, 4) Independent, 5) Able to discover, develop, and apply science, technology , and useful art.It can be realized by applying the right learning model. Problem-based learning model with virtual visualization is one of the right alternative, because students are required to be active and creative in building their knowledge. The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of students' science process skill after applied model of problem based learning with virtual simulation. This research was conducted by quasi experimental method with one group pretest-posttest research design, IA industry technique as experiment class. The results: 1) students science process skills are increasing, The average normalized N-Gain score of 0.72 students' science process skills is included in the high category; 2) Students give positive responses to the application of Problem Based Learning Model with virtual visualization on Measurement materials.

Based on the results of research in Majalengka Regency, it was found that there were 200 semi-finished wood processing secondary industries, spread over 26 sub-districts with the type of wood used being dominated by teak, mahogany, these types of wood are used for semi-finished materials in the form of frames, doors, windows, cabinets, sideboard and chairs. There is also production of wood that is native to Indonesia, namely wood carving. Wood carving has its own uniqueness because it is a human creation based on an aesthetic sense according to what the human himself wants. Wood carving works of art are usually created using sculpting techniques. The creation of works of wood carving with the arrangement of elements so that meaningful elements are formed and one must have creative sculpting skills to produce works that are good, attractive and have meaning and high aesthetic value as well as being useful in people's lives.
