This paper analyzes the effect of multiple Distributed Renewable Energy Generation penetration on improving the performance of the B3 feeder typical distribution system structure in Painan, Indonesia. Analysis uses a simple concept of load and distributed generation current injection at the distributed main, lateral and sublateral lines. The algorithm begins from completion of the main line variables, then uses an algorithm to complete the lateral line variables associated with the main line variable, and finally calls algorithms to resolve the sublateral variables associated with the lateral line variable. The results have shown that integrating three Distributed Renewable Energy Generation units to this distributed system has increased the minimum voltage of the main line from 17.35 kV to 20.37 kV, reduced active power loss from 1914.747 kW to 569.925 kW, and diminished reactive power loss from 650.747 kVAr to 188.624 kVAr.
Abstrak-Pada sistem distribusi radial 20 kV yang dipasok oleh Gardu Induk (GI) dalam jarak yang cukup jauh dari pusat beban akan menyebabkan terjadinya perosotan tegangan yang cukup signifikan. Pengintegrasian pembangkit tersebar (Distributed Generation, DG) pada jaringan distribusi tersebut akan menjadi salah satu solusi untuk memperbaiki perosotan tegangan tersebut. Tulisan ini mengemukakan suatu cara menganalisis efek pengintegrasian beberapa pembangkit listrik tersebar (DG) pada jaringan distribusi radial terhadap perosotan tegangan. Analisis menggunakan metoda arus injeksi dari beban dan DG pada setiap bus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penetrasi 5 unit DG pada jaringan distribusi akan mengurangi perosotan tegangan jaringan distribusi secara signifikan, terutama pada bus yang berdekatan dengan DG. Kata Kunci : pembangkit listrik tersebar(DG), jaringan distribusi radial, perosotan tegangan, arus injeksi.Abstract-At 20 kV radial distribution systems supplied by the substation in a considerable distance from the load centre, will cause occurred its voltage drop significantly. The integration of distributed generation on the distribution networks will be one of the solutions to reduce the drop voltage. This paper proposes a way to analyze the effect of integration multiple distributed generation (DG) in radial distribution networks to the voltage drop. This analysis uses the injection current method of the load and the DG on each bus. The analysis results showed that the penetration of 5 units of DG on the distribution network will reduce its voltage drops significantly, especially on the adjacent bus with DG.
Ngalau Baribuik Micro-hydro Power Plant (MHP) is located in Bukit Karang Putih, Lubuk Kilangan, Padang City. This MHP with a capacity of 10 kW belongs to the local community which has been operating since 2012. This MHP was built with the aim of meeting the electricity needs of the people of Nagari Ngalau Baribuik who are not covered by electricity from PLN. Based on the information obtained from the MHP management, until now the operating profile and loading pattern of the MHP which is managed independently by the community has not been identified. To overcome this problem, a community service activity was carried out to minimize the failure of the MHP in meeting the needs of the community and the worst possibility was that there was damage to the generator. The target of this activity is the people of Nagari Ngalau Baribuik who are consumers of the MHP. Through this community service activity, the people who are consumers of the Nagari Ngalau Baribuik MHP have understood the importance of saving energy to maintain the sustainability of the MHP. People also know tips for saving energy that they can apply in their daily lives. Efforts to transfer knowledge to the community have been successfully carried out through this activity.
Micro Hydro (PLTMH) Ngalau Baribuik, Padang - West Sumatra, has operated since 2012. It is currently the only source of electricity for the local community, some of whom work as chicken breeders. Based on community service activities in 2021, information was obtained that the PLTMH's electricity had yet to be utilized optimally. Meanwhile, chicken breeders also needed egg incubators to increase their productivity. This community service activity aims to design an IoT-based automatic egg incubator to optimize the use of renewable energy. Activities started with field visits, making initial plans, designing and testing the machine, handing over the machine, and disseminating knowledge. The designed a smart egg incubator worked well after a 21-day hatching test for chicken eggs. The IoT technology installed on the device also functions appropriately and can show real-time temperature and humidity on mobile devices.
This study describes how to implement an ERP system at PT Semen Gresik and compares the positive and negative effects of the implementation in the distribution process improvement. The benefits that can be obtained from this paper is obtaining information of how to implement an ERP system and the positive and negative effects of ERP implementation at PT Semen Gresik in the distribution process improvement. This study was done through documentation review to obtain the description of distribution process in the inventory material planning at PT Semen Gresik. The study resulted in a comparison between the positive and negative aspects as an effect from ERP implementation process at PT Semen Gresik in distribution process improvement. The ERP implementation process at PT Semen Gresik does not only provide more efficiency and effectiveness of distribution system, but also consequences of the impact from the effectiveness and efficiency obtained. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini memaparkan bagaimana ERP diimplementasikan pada PT Semen Gresik dan membandingkan dampak positif dan negatif dari implementasi tersebut dalam perbaikan proses distribusi. Manfaat yang ingin diperoleh yaitu mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai pengimplementasian ERP dan mengetahui dampak positif dan negatif implementasi ERP pada PT Semen gresik dalam perbaikan sistem distribusi. Metode penelitian menggunakan review dokumentasi untuk memperoleh gambaran atas proses distribusi dalam perencanaan material inventory PT Semen Gresik. Hasil yang dicapai adalah mendapatkan perbandingan antara dampak positif dan negatif akibat implementasi ERP pada PT Semen Gresik dalam perbaikan proses distribusi. Implementasi ERP pada PT Semen Gresik memberikan dampak yang baik bagi efektivitas dan efisiensi pada proses perbaikan sistem distribusi, tapi juga memberikan konsekuensi atas dampak efektivitas dan efisiensi yang diperoleh.
