AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang tingkat kecakapan akademik siswa dengan menerapkan model Pembelajaran Cooperative Scrift dan melihat perbedaan tingkat kecakapan akademik siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan model Cooperative Script. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif karena untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan siswa dalam kecakapan akademik siswa melalui model pembelajaran Cooperative Script. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.C SMP Negeri 12 Tasikmalaya yang berjumlah 34 orang. Pengumpulan data diambil melalui observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil observasi data bahwa dalam kecakapan akademik siswa sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Script terdapat 15 siswa termasuk kategori kurang dan 19 siswa termasuk kategori sangan kurang, sedangkan setelah pembelajaran Cooperative Script terdapat 10 siswa termasuk kategori sangat tinggi, 21 siswa termasuk kategori tinggi dan 3 siswa termasuk kategori cukup. Dengan skor rata-rata kemampuan kecakapan akademik siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Coopeartive Script adalah 86,73 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Sehubungan dengan kesimpulan tersebut, maka hendaknya guru berani mencoba menerapkan metode mengajar bervariasi dalam pembalajaran dalam meningkatkan berbagai kemampuan akademik siswa. Experimentation of Cooperative Script Learning Models for Students Academic SkillsAbstractThis study aims to describe the level of students 'academic skills by applying the Cooperative Scrift Learning model and see the differences in the level of students' academic skills before and after learning using the Cooperative Scrift model. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method because to describe the increase in students in students' academic skills through Cooperative Script learning models. The sample in this study were students of class VIII.C SMP Negeri 12 Tasikmalaya which amounted to 34 people. Data collection is taken through observation and tests. Based on observations of data that in the academic skills of students before the application of the Cooperative Script learning model there were 15 students including the less category and 19 students including the poor category, while after Cooperative Script learning there were 10 students including very high categories, 21 students including the high category and 3 students including enough categories. With the average score of the ability of students' academic skills after the application of the Cooperative Script learning model is 86.73 and is included in the very high category. In connection with these conclusions, teachers should be brave enough to try to apply the varied teaching methods in learning to improve students' various academic abilities.
This study examines the role of state Islamic tertiary institutions in responding to the challenges of globalization in Indonesia. One tertiary institution was used as a research case study, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This study uses qualitative methods through literature data collection, field observations, and interviews. The results of the research show that UIN Bandung has designed and prepared a strategy for facing the globalization era, which consists of seven main methods, which include: financial planning and allocation management; improvement of research and publication programs; lecture management; improvement and empowerment of international standard human resources; increasing global insight by maintaining Islamic scientific values; pilot projects for international class programs; and development of the quality of study programs. The seven strategies are supported by the initiative of the academic community independently so that it has succeeded in realizing UIN Bandung as one of the PTKI, which is ready to welcome the era of globalization and gain an international reputation.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan matematika dalam pembuatan batik khas tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksploratif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengerajin batik khas tasikmalaya yang berada di daerah Cigereung Kota Tasikmalaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi data yaitu menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari segi unsur geometri motif batik Tasikmalaya, memiliki hubungan dengan konsep transformasi bangun datar, yaitu translasi, refleksi dan rotasi,
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengekplor etnomatematik dalam merancang kebaya dilihat dari filosofi dan manfaat pelajaran matematika. Pendekatan menggunakan etnografi. Pelaku dalam penelitian ini bertempat di Bonokeling Desa Pakuncen Kecamatan Jatilawang. Aktivitas dalam kegiatan ini pengamatan dan penelitian terhadap etnomatematik dalam filosofi dan merancang kebaya. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara ke informan. Hasil penelitian dilapangan dan wawancara dalam merancang kebaya tidak terlepas dari filosofi karena dalam merancang kebaya tidak terlepas dari pola yang dibuat secara dibuat manual (dengan tangan) dan diukur (dijahit), tapi sekarang kebanyakan dengan mesin jahit. Kebaya yang dikenakan para ibu-ibu di Bonokeling sudah menjadi tradisi dipakai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, ketika ada orang yang meninggal dan acara-acara keagamaan atau ritual-ritual tertentu. Manfaat pelajaran matematika sangat penting kaitannya dengan pola bilangan, geometri dan skala.
This study is a developmental research aiming to produce Geogebra-assisted teaching and learning materials through Problem Posing for topic of Line Special in Triangle at year 7. This study uses Thiagarajan’s model of developmental research, without disseminate stage. The learning materials developed in this study were lesson plans and student worksheets. The subjects of this study were grade seven students at a private school in Cianjur Regency. In total, 13 male and 15 female students participated in this study. The results of this study show that (1) based validators’ review, the research instruments developed in this were very valid and practical, (2) based on students’ response, teaching materials fulfilled the practical category, and (3) based on the implementation in the classroom, student worksheets satisfied the effective category.
