Beef Prices in North Sumatera show a continuous increase. This research was conducted by collecting secondary data in North Sumatera in 2020. The purpose of this research was to find the factors that influenced the increase in the price of the beef. The analysis method to explain the factors that influence the beef prices in North Sumatera was Multiple Linear Regression analysis. There was no violation of classical assumptions such as autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity so it can be said that the estimation of the regression model was unbiased. The results showed that there were three factors that had a positive and significant effect on the 5% error rate on the beef prices in North Sumatera, namely the world beef prices, Rupiah exchange rate against the Dollar and beef imports in North Sumatera. The beef production in North Sumatera affected on the beef prices in North Sumatera at an error level of 10%. The consumption of beef did not have a significant effect on the beef prices in North Sumatera.
After the idea, production machinery and equipment is the capital that a production business must have in order to run. The more complete and modern the tools and machines that a business has, the more business productivity will increase, which in turn can increase business revenues. This service aims to increase the productivity and management of IRT 'Kalian Kripik' which produces onion cakes from various original flavors from agricultural products such as potatoes, sweet potatoes and sweet potatoes. Devotion is done by providing science and technology assistance in the form of Ampia machines and Digital Scales, as well as business management training in the form of training in calculating depreciation costs, bookkeeping, and business analysis. After this service, IRT ‘Kalian Kripik’ has been able to improve the quality and quality of its products. The results of dedication show that with the help of machines and tools that are given by the Partner, they can improve the quality of their products, weigh the ingredients and production more accurately, be able to manage business better in the form of bookkeeping activities, calculation of depreciation and business analysis.
This study aims to (1) analyze the availability of food in the city of Medan (2) the availability of nutrients (energy, protein, and fat) compared to the Nutritional Adequacy Rate (RDA) (3) the diversity of food availability in the city of Medan. The research data were obtained from primary data and secondary data. The analytical method used is descriptive method using the Food Balance Sheet (FBS). The results showed that the availability of food in Medan City in 2020 was in the available category of 1,350.25 grams/capita/day or 489.93 kg/capita/year. The availability of nutrients (energy, protein, and fat) of food in Medan City has exceeded the recommended nutritional adequacy rate and is classified in the available category. The diversity of food availability in the city of Medan is quite diverse.
Producers need to understand consumers’ behaviour in purchasing bottled coffee products. Consumers’ consideration in buying bottled coffee is the basis for producers for marketing strategies. The purpose of this study was to analyse consumer’ preferences for decisions in buying bottled coffee. Bottled coffee in this study uses 6 attributes that is colour, flavour, packaging, price, thickness, and promotion. Analysed using conjoint analysis with SPSS 24 by giving questionnaires to 100 respondents, the results of this study indicate that the majority of consumers likes bottled coffee with black colour, fragrant flavour, unattractive packaging, with a price of more than 8,000 IDR, and has an ordinary thickness. Promotion seen by consumers from social media.
