Abstract. Labor has an important role in development. However, it becomes a problem if the number of workers is not proportional to the available jobs. The increasing population in West Java is a challenge for the government to be able to provide job opportunities along with the increase in the workforce. This study aims to determine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) and Human Development Index (IPM) on employment in West Java Regency/City in 2010 – 2020. Labor absorption is the dependent variable. , while GDP, UMK and HDI are independent variables. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. This study uses panel data, namely 27 district/city sectors in West Java in 2010 – 2020. The analytical method used is OLS (Ordinary Least Square), with the estimate used is the Random Effect Model. The results of the study partially show that the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has a positive effect on employment, the Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) has a positive effect on employment and the Human Development Index (IPM) has a positive effect on employment. However, simultaneously all the independent variables affect the absorption of labor in the Regency/City of West Java. Abstrak. Tenaga kerja memiliki peranan penting dalam pembangunan. Tetapi mejadi masalah jika jumlah tenaga kerja tidak sebanding dengan lapangan kerja yang tersedia. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk di Jawa Barat menjadi suatu tantangan bagi pemerintah untuk dapat meyediakan lapangan kerja seiring dengan peningkatan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Produk Domestik Regiobal Bruto (PDRB), Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten/Kota Jawa Barat 2010 – 2020. Penyerapan tenaga kerja merupakan variable dependen, sedangkan PDB,UMK dan IPM merupakan variabel independen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel yaitu 27 sektor Kabupaten/Kota yang ada di Jawa Barat pada tahun 2010 – 2020. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah OLS (Ordinary Least Square), dengan estimasi yang digunakan adalah Random Effect Model. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial bahwa Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) berpengaruh positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja, Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) berpengaruh positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) berpengaruh positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja. Namun, secara simultan seluruh variabel independen memengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja di Kabupaten/Kota Jawa Barat.
