The recording of student attendance aims to monitor the student attendance quantity and educate students to be disciplined. Student attendance records that are currently done manually on the paper can be improved to increase the quality of the attendance data processing, service quality and system in the School. This study aims to build an Attendance application based on Android platform that can be used on the teacher's mobile device. Waterfall is the method which is used to develop the attendance application in this study. Then, to ensure the application performance, the attendance application will be tested by the blackbox testing method. The test results using the blackbox testing show that the features in the attendance application perform according to its purpose. This attendance application can facilitate the homeroom teacher to carry out the student attendance recording process daily and to create the student attendance data recapitulation.
Searching is one of the important features on the website, but it is not uncommon for users to make typos when typing keywords. Typing errors of these keywords is usually referred to as typo. This study aims to build a system by providing suggestions for correcting typos in the search feature. Keywords search correction are obtained using the Damerau-Levenshtein Distance Approximate String Matching algorithm by to calculate the editing distance of each word in a keywords with each word in the Indonesian word dictionary. Testing was carried out as many as 40 experiments, with 10 keywords and 250 articles taken randomly. The test results show the Damerau-Levenshtein Distance algorithm is able to provide precision and recall values of 91.24% and 89.58% in providing keyword improvement suggestions. With the improvement of the system, each trial increases with precision value of 0.80 and recall value of 0.98.
Software requirements specification document must complete, unambiguous and must correct because can lead to failure in software development. It must contain sentences not redundant. Meyer’s seven sins explain some errors in software requirements specification document, one of which is a Noise. Variant of the noise is redundancy. Redundancy is repeating the same information, but using different terms or phrases, thus giving the impression that new information. This research to analyze performance redundancy detection in sentences pair on software requirement specification documents using WordNet based semantic similarity methods. This study tries to develop a framework that has been proposed in previous studies in different framework that is to detected redundancy in sentences without fact extraction. The proposed approach and evaluation process uses Kappa values to determine whether reliable framework that can be used to detect redundancy in sentence pairs by using experiments in two scenarios to get good results. Our experimental result show the performance of proposed framework can used to help reduce redundancy when creating software requirements specification documents and may contributes to enhance the quality of document. Shown with good kappa values and interpretation of the Kappa value is substantial agreement. It means many agreements between experts and framework.
Build, design and develop an Internet of Things design to monitor air quality in thewild with air pollution case studies. By utilizing the ESP-8266 type wifi modulemicrocontroller as the control center for the devices built by adding an IC4051 AnalogMultiplexer as a branching process from 1 analog channel to 7 analog channels. There are5 sensors used, namely CO (MQ-7), CO2 (Analog Infrared CO2), Dust Sensors (PM10),DHT-11 (Temperature & Humidity) and Wind speed & direction. Data recording locationand data monitoring using third party protocol, namely Ubidots. The research was conducted in 2 different locations with the time determined, namelyin the area of the UPR Informatics Engineering Department area and also in the village ofTanjung Taruna, Jabiren Raya District, Pulang Pisau Regency along with the Team of theKopernik Bali Foundation. The results of the study will be analyzed using the AQI (Air Quality Index) standardwhich is also the same as that of the BMKG as an air quality index index. By using realtimeinternet of things technology, it can make it easy to get information about the level of airquality in the wild quickly, efficiently, and the monitoring process can be done anywhereand anytime.
SMP Negeri 6 Palangka Raya has a new student admission activity every year. The Implementation of New Student Admissions for SMP Negeri 6 Palangka Raya is a routine activity to recruit prospective new students who come from elementary or MI. So far, it is known that at SMP Negeri 6 Palangka Raya, the system for accepting new students and re-registering new students is still done manually, namely prospective students come to school with the registration requirements in the form of a Certificate of Original National Graduation Result, a copy of the Family Card, and a photo This makes the registration of new students and re-registration is ineffective and inefficient, because a lot of time, money and energy is wasted to register as new students and re-register at the school. Therefore we need a reliable, effective and efficient system that makes it easy for prospective new students who wish to register at the school and re-register when it is accepted to be accepted at the school, and also makes it easy for schools and committees in managing data of prospective new students quickly and efficiently and making credible reports, so that new student registration can be carried out properly The software development method used is a waterfall, system analysis using data flow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams, program code using PHP and MySQL. Based on the results of testing using the blackbox, the new student admission information system can be used properly
