RESUMO:O presente artigo pretende socializar algumas informações e reflexões sobre o ensino de filosofia no ensino médio nas escolas públicas do Distrito Federal a partir das práticas docentes e pesquisas de mestrado dos autores. Apresenta algumas questões sobre a presença do ensino de filosofia no Brasil e sobre a história e o contexto atual do ensino de filosofia nas escolas públicas. Apresenta também alguns dados sobre a formação e os aspectos da prática docente em filosofia e, por último, apresenta ainda algumas perspectivas para o ensino de filosofia no Distrito Federal.Palavras-chave: Ensino. TEACHING OF PHILOSOPHY IN HIGH SCHOOLS OF THE FEDERAL DISTRICT OF BRAZIL: HISTORY, PRACTICES AND MEANINGS OF CONSTRUCTIONABSTRACT: The current article intends to socialize some information and reflection on the teaching of philosophy in public highschools of the Federal District of Brazil as of its starting point in the educational practices and researches of the authors. The article presents some ideas concerning the presence of philosophy teaching in Brazil and regarding the history and its current context of the Brazilian Educational System. It also offers some data on the graduation and practice of the professors of philosophy and, finally, it presents some perspective to rethink the themes discussed.
