realized miniaturization compared with its counterparts. Moreover, the design procedure of this filter is quite simple while the filters in Refs. [6, 7] and [9] used the defected ground or slot line structures on the bottom side of the substrate, which suffer from the complexity and difficulties in integrating with other circuits or front-end systems.
CONCLUSIONSTwo samples of the notch-band UWB BPFs based on interdigital-coupled feed-line structure have been designed and fabricated in this article. The simple five interdigital highimpedance lines are implemented to introduce a notched band within the filter's passband responses, which enable the rejection of interference signals at 5.8 GHz from WLAN systems and 8 GHz from satellite-communication systems, respectively. Owing to the compact size and super simple design procedure, the proposed filters are attractive for use in UWB wireless systems.ACKNOWLEDGMENT ABSTRACT: In this article, we have been investigated the use of frequency selective surfaces (FSS) with multifractal geometry. The proposed structure is a junction of the Koch curve with Sierpinski Carpet. The main advantage of the proposed structure is to design multiband FSS makes it flexible in terms of controlling resonance and bandwidth.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
