This study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of social studies learning on the socialization of potential earthquake disasters in the Bandung City Region and its mitigation in Junior High School (SMP) students in Bandung City. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, while the method used is descriptive analysis with a survey type with a sample of 194 people determined by proportional random sampling from 3931 students who are in areas prone to earthquakes in the city of Bandung, contained in 14 public junior high schools. The instruments used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the effectiveness of social studies learning on the socialization of potential earthquake disasters in the city of Bandung along with its mitigation to the students of public junior high schools in the city of Bandung showed a positive and significant correlation, which had a relationship level of 67.8% with a correlation coefficient value of 0.824 which is included in the category of very strong relationship. The social studies curriculum for junior high schools made a fairly high contribution to disaster education and disaster mitigation, which was 47.4% in the social studies curriculum for junior high schools based on Permendiknas no. 22 of 2006, and 69.2% of the social studies curriculum for junior high schools based on Permendikbud No. 24 of 2016.
Dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19 pembelajaran disekolah menjadi terhambat, dan salah satunya adalah pelajaran PPPKN. Alternatif yang digunakan guru PPPKN di SMA YAS Sindangkerta dalam pembelajaran adalah dengan menggunakan media WhatsApp. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media WhatsApp selama masa pandemi covid-19 terhadap pelajaran PPPKN di SMA YAS Sindangkerta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei, serta pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 33 siswa dengan keseluruhan populasi yaitu kelas XII yang berjumlah 217 siswa . Hasil penelitian dilihat dari Uji Hipotesis t yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi penggunaan media WhatsApp pada tabel coeffifiens sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media WhatsApp selama masa pandemi covid-19 berpengaruh digunakan dalam pembelajaran PPPKN. Hasil uji Koefisisen Korelasi yaitu nilai Pearson Correlation sebesar 0,543 yang berarti tingkat korelasi antara kedua variabel adalah sedang.
This study presents the results of literature analysis on the application of audiovisual media in IPS learning in the United States and Turkey. The analysis is done so that the differences and advantages of audiovisual media used by each country can be known. This research uses literature method by tracing the sources of journals, scientific magazines, books, and internet sources. The results show that the United States and Turkey are concentrated in the development of Social Study learning media-based audiovisual. In addition, the use of audiovisual media in Social Study in the United States and Turkey can create a more active, innovative, creative, and fun learning atmosphere for learners.
The family is the first environment in a child's life, a place where children learn and express themselves as social beings. The family provides the basis for the formation of behavior, character, morals and education of the child. Triggers of violence against children that occur among others are first, the emergence of domestic violence, the occurrence of violence involving both the father, mother and other relatives cause inevitable violence occurs also against children. Children are often targeted by parents' anger. Second, the occurrence of family dysfunction, namely the role of parents do not work as they should. Third, the economic factor, namely violence arises because of economic factors. The character of the child will be disturbed by the occurrence of wrong treatment that often escape the attention, whereas ordinary events are very often related, in the inability and ineffective parents in dealing with children. The problem formulation in this study is how big the role of parents according to legislation and norms prevailing in society, the factors causing the occurrence of violence in the household, and how big the character of children who experience violence in the household. The research method used a quantitative descriptive approach. As for the results from the average research scores the study mostly answered "Yes". With the overall average gain in the highest percentage score is 86.7% and the lowest percentage score is 13.3%. So the conclusion of this study, domestic violence affecting the character of children in MTs.Az-zahra Selacau school in Selacau village, Batujajar sub-district, West Bandung regency. Keywords: Domestic Violence, Child Character. ABSTRAK Keluarga adalah lingkungan pertama dalam kehidupan anak, tempat dimana anak belajar dan menyatakan diri sebagai makhluk sosial. Keluarga memberikan dasar pembentukan tingkah laku, watak, moral dan pendidikan terhadap anak. Pemicu kekerasan terhadap anak yang terjadi diantaranya adalah pertama, munculnya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, terjadinya kekerasan yang melibatkan baik pihak ayah, ibu dan saudara yang lainnya menyebabkan tidak terelakkannya kekerasan terjadi juga terhadap anak. Anak seringkali menjadi sasaran kemarahan orang tua. Kedua, terjadinya disfungsi keluarga, yaitu peran orang tua tidak berjalan sebagaimana seharusnya. Ketiga, faktor ekonomi, yaitu kekerasan timbul karena faktor ekonomi. Karakter anak akan terganggu dengan terjadinya perlakuan salah yang sering luput dari perhatian, padahal kejadian biasa sangat sering terkait, pada ketidak mampuan dan kurang efektifnya orang tua dalam menghadapi anak. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar peran orang tua menurut perundang-undangan dan norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat, faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, dan seberapa besar karakter anak yang mengalami kekerasan dalam rumah tangga. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun hasil dari penelitian skor rata-rata penelitian sebagian besar menjawab “Yaâ€. Dengan perolehan rata-rata seluruhnya pada skor persentase tertinggi adalah 86,7% dan skor persentase terendah adalah 13,3%. Maka kesimpulan penelitian ini, kekerasan dalam rumah tangga berdampak terhadap karakter anak di sekolah MTs.Az-zahra Selacau di Desa Selacau Kecamatan Batujajar Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
